Necessary skills and qualifications:

• At least 4 years of experience with C++ programming (14.0 and higher)
• 3+ years of experience with embedded Linux
• Good debugging skills 
• Experience with kernel space and user space development
• Strong knowledge of hardware board configuration and usage
• Experience with single-board computers and SOMs, like Raspberry Pi, NXP iMX8, NXP iMX6, STM32MP157
• Hands-on experience with Yocto or Buildroot, etc.
• Practical experience with Linux configuration for hardware interface communication
• Basic electronics principles knowledge
• Knowledge of wired/wireless communication protocols/interfaces
• At least an Upper-Intermediate English level
   

Will be a plus:

• Knowledge of Python
• Experience with Qt
• Ability to take on the role of a lead developer of the project 
• Experience with MCU

Team Summary

Our AI QA team provides end-to-end testing solutions of complex AI-driven features, hardware sensors supporting AI functionality, and large-scale cloud and embedded systems. We bring proven experience in both hardware and software product development, with a strong focus on motion detection technologies.

We specialize in building and executing multi-layered automation frameworks across integration, system, and acceptance levels, ensuring comprehensive test coverage, continuous product state monitoring, and stable product releases. 

The team contributes to the development of AI features and embedded systems.

Job Summary

We are looking for a QA Team Lead who will own and drive QA strategy and processes across multiple programs, aligning testing approaches with business needs and evolving them as requirements change.
 

Responsibilities and Duties

• Ensure the team adheres to testing best practices, meets division-level quality standards, and delivers outcomes aligned with stakeholder expectations.
• Track and analyze testing metrics and results to provide clear quality status reports at each SDLC milestone.
• Plan QA activities, support engineers with task estimation, and define test scopes.
• Allocate QA resources across features, review performance, and mentor direct reports and team members.

Qualifications and Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a QA engineer, 2+ years of experience in a leading role
• Basic knowledge in computer vision and machine learning
• Understanding and hands-on experience with embedded systems testing
• Automation skills with Python (ability to read a script or maintain simple tests)
• Hands-on experience in UNIX/Linux, including CLI navigation and use of regular expressions
• Experience with databases and SQL
• Experience with CI tools (Jenkins)
• Good written and spoken English

Nice to have

• Basic experience with Raspberry Pi
• Hands-on experience in Bash scripting
• Familiarity with AWS services
• Practical experience with API testing (CRUD operations, debugging with Postman or similar tools)
• Experience in mobile testing
• ISTQB Certification Advanced Test Manager
