We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Magento Developer with a strong focus on Progressive Web Applications (PWAs) and the Venia storefront theme.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Magento 2 development, React, and modern frontend technologies.

They will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-performance, engaging Magento storefronts using PWA Studio and the Venia theme.

Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain Magento 2 websites with a focus on PWA Studio and Venia
Implement custom features and functionality within the Venia theme
Integrate third-party extensions and services
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
Optimize website performance and user experience
Collaborate with other developers and designers to deliver exceptional e-commerce solutions

Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in Magento development, with a strong focus on Magento 2
Deep understanding of React, including state management (e.g., Redux) and modern component patterns
Extensive experience with Magento's PWA Studio and Venia theme
Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Experience with e-commerce development and integrations
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with WooCommerce or other e-commerce platforms
Familiarity with the Symfony framework
Contributions to open-source projects, particularly in the Magento ecosystem

As Tech Lead, you will spearhead the development and management of innovative online shopping experiences, collaborating closely with design, development, and project management to ensure seamless integration and deployment.

• Provide technical leadership and guidance to a team of developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
• Oversee the technical design, architecture, and implementation of Magento solutions, ensuring rapid issue resolution and delivering exceptional, high-quality products.
• Continuously refine and optimize development processes by implementing scalable best practices, reducing task cycles, and driving technical skill growth across the team.
• Stay at the forefront of industry trends, act as the primary technical expert, and resolve complex challenges while ensuring a maintainable and scalable codebase.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of technical solutions, timely delivery of tasks, and clear communication of technical progress and challenges.
• Champion a culture of technical excellence, agility, and lean principles, driving continuous improvement and fostering sustainable growth.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years as a technical leader, mentor, or in a similar position guiding development teams (e-commerce experience is a plus but not required).
• Extensive experience with Magento 2.x, including custom module development, theme customization, and API integrations.
• Strong understanding of Magento 2 architecture, data structures, and best practices, with the ability to guide the team in implementing scalable and efficient solutions that reduce time-to-market.
• In-depth knowledge of web scalability, page load time and caching strategies (CDN, Varnish, Redis).
• Proven ability to identify and solve complex technical challenges with attention to detail and a focus on fast time-to-market and high-quality.
• Confident leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to mentor, inspire, and guide the team toward continuous improvement.
• Experience in applying Agile methodologies and Lean principles to optimize team workflows, improve cycle times, and foster a continuous improvement mindset.
• A proactive approach to collaboration and the ability to align technical solutions with business goals and sprint deliverables.

• Magento certification(s) (e.g., Magento Certified Developer).
