Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain complex Magento 2 backend solutions

Requirements:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Magento 2 backend development (Magento 1 experience — a plus)
• Strong proficiency in PHP 7+, Magento 2 architecture (MVVM), and custom module development
• In-depth experience with MySQL, REST/GraphQL APIs, and integration with third-party systems
• Experience working with Composer, Redis, Varnish, Elasticsearch, and RabbitMQ
• Proficiency in Git, Docker, and working with CI/CD pipelines
• Solid understanding of OOP, design patterns, PSR standards, and SOLID principles
• Upper-Intermediate English (spoken and written)
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently

We are seeking Software Engineer with deep expertise in PHP and Magento development to join product engineering team. This role is for someone passionate about building scalable eCommerce solutions, maintaining robust production systems, and contributing to product innovation.

As part of a collaborative, cross-functional team, you will take ownership of critical features, support high-traffic Magento sites, and work closely with developers across time zones to deliver high-quality software.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Magento-based applications and modules with a strong emphasis on performance and maintainability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in production systems, ensuring site stability and performance.
• Write clean, well-structured, and testable code using modern PHP and object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.

Required Qualifications

We currently run 100+ Magento 2 stores across 3 separate cloud environments on different continents. As the complexity grows, we need a strong expert — someone who’s been through similar scale and challenges — to regularly consult and help solve advanced technical problems.

Responsibilities:

- Advise on architecture, scalability, and infrastructure improvements

- Support Magento 2 performance and deployment optimization

- Consult on multi-cloud setup, integrations, and edge performance (Cloudflare)

- Review internal proposals and offer strategic second opinions

Requirements:

- 5+ years as a Magento 2 Solution or Technical Architect

- Experience managing 100+ stores and 2–3+ independent cloud infrastructures

- Strong Cloudflare expertise (CDN, caching, security)
