Our client is building a new product in the maritime intelligence space — helping governments and port authorities gain visibility into global shipping activity.
The platform analyzes vessel movements, cargo data, and risk signals to identify potential issues — including high-risk or non-compliant shipments — before they reach port.
It combines real-time data, rule-based logic, and predictive models to deliver actionable insights for decision-makers.
This is a new product built from scratch.
A prototype already exists, but the core architecture and product decisions are still open.
The team will work closely with senior engineering leadership based in Israel and will play a key role in shaping the product from early stage to production.
 

About the role
This is a hands-on Tech Lead position with full ownership.
You won’t be joining an existing team — you’ll bring your own (4–6 engineers) and build as a unit.
The focus is on delivering a production-ready system based on an existing prototype, working closely with data engineers and product stakeholders.
 

Key Requirements:

Proven experience as a hands-on Tech Lead;
You have managed your current team for at least 4+ months;
Your team has been working together for 6+ months and delivered real projects;
Strong experience with Node.js and React;

About the Product:

We power a proprietary, machine-learning-driven platform for programmatic user acquisition and retargeting in the mobile app space. About the Role:

As Full Stack Team Lead, you will own the design, implementation and maintenance of our core real-time ad-serving infrastructure. You will rally a globally distributed team of four engineers behind a shared vision, drive technical direction and ensure high performance, availability and security. This role demands a hands-on leader who spends roughly half their time coding, reviewing designs and guiding end-to-end project delivery, and half their time on team management, sprint planning and stakeholder collaboration.

About the Role

We are looking for a Staff Engineer who will help us design and evolve scalable, reliable, and elegant systems — with a strong focus on data, architecture, and long-term engineering excellence.

This role is for someone who doesn’t just write code, but shapes technical direction, elevates engineering standards, and drives impact through systems and data quality.

You will work and lead the team, which takes full responsibility for data governance and treats it as the highest priority. Handles product data inquiries, visualization, standards, logging, recommendations, data tools, decision-making insights, data quality, workflow improvements, and our project analytics feature. The team also maintains and supports the internal /support page used across the company.

What you bring

• Experience as a Tech/Team Lead (open to considering candidates without leadership experience but with a strong desire to develop in this direction)
