About the Role

Key Responsibilities: 

Architecture & Code Ownership

• Design and document scalable, resilient system and infrastructure
• Build and evolve the codebase hands-on (C/C++, STM32 embedded stack)
• Review developer code, ensure maintainability, and support clean code
• Co-Design architecture and write clean scalable code
• Be able to find elegant technical solutions

Quality & Testing Oversight

• Define and enforce testing protocols for both software and hardware-integrated systems

Field & Integration Involvement

• Participate in field testing and real-world validation of systems

• Troubleshoot performance issues under real operational constraints (latency, RF noise, etc.)

   

Tech Experience

Embedded Systems & Firmware

• 2+ Years — Proficient in C/C++ for bare-metal and RTOS-based systems (FreeRTOS/Azure RTOS, STM32 HAL/LL)
• Experience with STM32 microcontrollers
• Familiarity with embedded peripherals: SPI, UART, I2C, ADC, DAC, DMA
• Experience with interrupt-driven programming and power-sensitive design

• Experience in using an oscilloscope, multimeter, logic analyzer

   

Radio & Networking

• Familiarity with radio modulations
• Experience with low-level RF link protocols and packet handling
• Understanding of signal reliability under interference/jamming conditions is a plus
• Select and integrate modulation schemes.
• Develop RF coordination between multiple half-duplex transceivers with QoS control.
• Validate throughput, latency, jitter, and packet-loss in real-field environments.

• Understanding of the network architectures

   

Architecture & Codebase Management

• Architecture planning for embedded integrations

• Ability to define modular code structures and hardware abstraction layers

   

Code & QA Standards

• Review and validate developer code
• Setup and enforce lightweight QA workflows (unit tests, static analysis)

• Drive code documentation, test coverage, and regression tracking

   

Nice to have Experience

• Knowledge of the SDR concept, architecture, hardware and software of modern SDR transmitters and receivers;
• Familiarity with video codecs (H.264, H.265, AV1, etc...)

• Participate in on-site testing with integrated hardware

Device Department займається розробкою пристроїв для безпеки й автоматизації. А також ставить перед собою серйозні виклики в таких напрямках: - Low-Power: пристрої мають працювати максимально довго від штатних батарей; - Собівартість: масовий продукт повинен залишатися в діапазоні середнього цінового сегмента; - DFM (Design for Manufacturing) і DFH (Design for Human): схемотехніку, корпуси та інші елементи має бути легко повторити в сотнях тисяч пристроїв на виробництві без втрати якості. Розробка переважно ведеться для STM32 (але є і інші MCU та SoC), з використанням Embedded C. Вже зібрано сильну експертизу й талановитих працівників із числа Hardware- та Embedded C-інженерів, промислових дизайнерів, конструкторів-механіків.

Завдання:

• розробляти схемотехнічні рішення та друковані плати для нових пристроїв Ajax
• працювати над покращенням існуючих пристроїв Ajax
• підбирати заміни компонентів, з описом необхідних для цього тестів
• робити первинну перевірку і відлагодження прототипів (bring up)
• доводити проекти до масового виробництва (10000+/місяць)

Необхідні навички та знання:

• проектування схемотехніки пристроїв: розрахунок елементів схеми, проведення симуляцій роботи пристрою
• проектування друкованих плат у Altium Designer
• проектування пристроїв з урахуванням сертифікаційних вимог (LVD, EMC)
• проектування пристроїв з урахуванням вимог масового виробництва
• проектування низькоспоживаючих пристроїв
• проектування мережних пристроїв (230 VAC)
• оптимізація вартості пристроїв (уніфікація елементної бази, пошук альтернативних компонентів)
• відлагодження прототипів, пошук і усунення проблем у пристроях
• підготовка документації для виробництва друкованих плат та їх збірок
• робота з системами контролю версій (git)
• рівень знань англійської достатній для вільного читання супроводжувальної документації

Буде плюсом:

• досвід розробки пристроїв з потоковим відео (інтерфейс MIPI)
• досвід роботи з supply chain на великих об'ємах виробництва (10000+/місяць)
• досвід створення вбудованого ПЗ сучасних платформ (STM32, тощо), достатній для відлагодження власної розробки
• розуміння принципів signal integrity / power integrity у проектуванні пристроїв, а також досвід моделювання/характеризації топологій (S-parameters, PDN impedance)
