Voltra.ai
Voltra is the analytics layer car dealerships have been waiting for. We sit on top of a dealer's existing systems, pull the data nobody has time to look at, and surface the metrics that actually drive revenue: close rate, BDC performance, lead source ROI, inventory aging, F&I attach, response time.
We're additive. We don't replace anyone's CRM or DMS. That's our edge. We can drop into any dealership's stack in days, not months.
Built by operators, not consultants
Voltra was originally built for one of the largest independent used-car dealership in the USA, as the internal tool their leadership wished existed. Every metric started as a real question on a real sales floor. When other dealerships saw it running, they asked for it too, and Voltra became a product.
Where we are
- Bootstrapped and profitable: no VC pressure, no runway anxiety
- Established Product Market Fit: Dealers are loving our product
- Backed dealerships that use Voltra every day
- Rolling out to new rooftops nationwide on the back of a referral engine that hasn't stopped
What it's like to work here
- Small team, high ownership. No layers, no committees. You ship features, you talk to customers, you see your work in dealerships within weeks.
- Real product, real users, real revenue. Every line of code goes to a paying dealership running it on production data the same day.
- Modern stack. TypeScript, Next.js, Supabase/Postgres, Python automation, Claude API integrations. We invest heavily in AI-assisted development and our engineer uses Claude Code daily.
- Remote-first, async-friendly. US-Eastern core team; we expect ~4 hours of overlap so you can collaborate.
- No bureaucracy. No standups for the sake of standups. No "process for process's sake." Ship code, talk to users, learn fast.
- Domain that's actually interesting. Auto retail is a $1.2 trillion industry running on software from the 1990s. The room to build something that matters is enormous.
Who we're hiring
Engineers who want to own things end-to-end, work in a small team where their decisions show up in revenue within weeks, and don't need someone holding their hand through a file. If you've got the technical chops AND the comfort with messy real-world data, we want to talk.
