About the Role
We are looking for a Business Development Manager to help grow revenue and scale our company. This role is focused on growth through B2B sales, partnerships, and new market opportunities. You will work closely with the Product team and other departments to identify growth opportunities, build effective sales processes, and develop strong partnership channels. We are especially interested in people who bring channels or approaches we haven't tried yet. We'll jointly decide which directions are most worth pursuing for the period, and from there work can be independent or in close collaboration with the team, depending on the channel.
Key Responsibilities
1. Identify and evaluate growth opportunities
β’ Map market opportunities and prioritize high-potential segments
β’ Clarify pain points and needs of target audiences
β’ Identify underutilized channels, design an approach to test them, and scale what works
β’ Bring channels or approaches from your own experience that we havenβt tried yet
2. Drive direct B2B sales
β’ Shape offers for key segments together with the Product team
β’ Build and manage the sales pipeline from outreach to close
β’ Build and run multi-touch outreach sequences - several touchpoints over days/weeks to the same lead - targeting DevOps teams, IT managers, and CTOs of SMBs
3. Develop partnerships
β’ Launch and grow referral and affiliate programs
β’ Build win-win integrations with complementary product/service providers
β’ Develop co-marketing, channel, and strategic partnerships
β’ Explore marketplace and reseller placements (e.g. AWS/Azure/GCP marketplace, hosting marketplaces) where relevant to the product
Requirements
β’ 1+ years of independently managing a full B2B sales or business development cycle
β’ Hands-on experience with multi-channel outreach - email sequences, cold outreach. Has tested channels independently, not just used a ready-made system
β’ Ability to identify growth opportunities and apply effective sales strategies
β’ Experience launching a channel from scratch (one we may not be using yet) that delivered measurable results
β’ Experience defining target audiences, testing hypotheses, and identifying high-LTV segments
β’ Understanding of sales funnels, pipeline management, and key commercial metrics
β’ Understanding of the product market fit
β’ Strong market research and competitor analysis skills
β’ Negotiation skills and ability to drive deals to closure
β’ Confident with AI tools, automation, and modern sales/growth stack
β’ Experience building and developing win-win partnerships
β’ English B2+
Nice to Have
β’ Experience with referral or affiliate
β’ Background in web hosting, infrastructure, SaaS, or adjacent niches
β’ Experience with outbound tools (Apollo, Clay, Instantly, or similar)
β’ Attended or represented a company at tech/hosting events or meetups

Working Conditions
Format: remote, 5 working days / 2 days off
Schedule: 9:00 - 18:00, flexible lunch break of 1 hour between 12:00 and 15:00
Trial period: 2β3 months (may be completed early, retroactively)
Contract: FOP - after successful adaptation
