Senior Marketing Manager (Acquisition) — iGaming

We are looking for a Senior Marketing Manager to take ownership of the centralized acquisition function within an iGaming group, with a clear path to the CMO role.

The function covers Media Buying, Affiliates, and SEO. The team acquires traffic centrally and distributes it across the group's B2C brands.

For us, marketing is first and foremost about economics. We are not looking for a brand marketer, but for a strong performance/acquisition specialist who can take ownership of traffic quality, payback, and the financial results of the entire acquisition function.

The most important thing about this role

This role needs full autonomy. We expect you to take ownership, not to ask what to do next. You identify the problem, make the analysis, and come with a ready solution. You are fully accountable for the budget you manage and for hitting your KPIs, with no one managing you step by step.

Responsibilities

• Own Media Buying, Affiliates, and SEO: teams, processes, budgets, and KPIs.
• Build and execute a unified acquisition strategy across brands and GEOs.
• Own acquisition economics throughout the entire player lifecycle, from acquisition to retention, LTV, and payback.
• Analyze traffic performance at GEO / source / campaign / affiliate / cohort level.
• Control traffic quality and fight fraud, motivated traffic, bonus abuse, multi-accounting, and other low-quality sources.
• Build and optimize funnels together with CRM/Retention and Product teams.
• Optimize team structure, processes, and costs.
• Implement AI and automation across analytics, marketing, and operational workflows.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience in iGaming acquisition / performance marketing, with ownership of a channel, team, or budget (Team Lead, Head of Channel, or Senior Manager level).
• Deep understanding of Media Buying, Affiliate Marketing, and SEO.
• Strong understanding of the full player lifecycle: acquisition → deposit → retention → LTV.
• Strong command of unit economics and key metrics: CPA, FTD, retention, LTV, ROI/ROMI, and payback.
• Deep understanding of fraud and traffic quality assessment.
• Experience managing significant marketing budgets and scaling only when the economics are supported by data.
• Strong analytical skills; you work with the numbers yourself and make data-driven decisions.
• Advanced hands-on experience with AI and automation: AI agents, agentic workflows, coding agents, Claude Code / Codex, or similar tools. Using an LLM as a chat interface is not enough.
• Experience managing and improving performance teams.
• A track record of working independently: owning decisions, results, and budgets end to end.

Who we are not looking for

• Someone who needs constant guidance, waits for tasks, or brings problems without solutions.
• A brand/PR marketer without strong hands-on performance and acquisition experience.
• Someone who considers higher spend or FTD volume a success by itself.
• Someone who can scale spend but cannot show the unit economics and payback behind that growth.
• Someone who evaluates acquisition only up to the first deposit and doesn't take ownership of player quality, retention, and LTV.
• Someone willing to accept cheap, incentivized, or questionable traffic to hit volume KPIs.
• Someone who relies entirely on analysts to make decisions.
• Someone whose AI experience is limited to using ChatGPT/Claude for writing and Q&A.
• Someone whose approach is "spend first, figure out the economics later."

What we offer

• A clear growth path to CMO, based on results.
• Ownership of several key acquisition channels and the authority to shape how they work.
• Significant budgets to scale channels with proven economics.
• The freedom to reshape team structure, processes, tools, and ways of working.
• Multiple B2C brands and GEOs to scale successful approaches across the group.
• A high degree of autonomy and fast decision-making.

The core principle of the role

We are not looking for someone who simply knows how to spend marketing budgets. We are looking for someone who can independently turn those budgets into high-quality, retainable, and profitable traffic, and take full responsibility for the result.

The key KPI for this role is the financial performance of the acquisition function.

We are looking for an experienced Deputy CFO to join our international iGaming group and become a key partner to the CFO in managing and developing the finance function.

The role combines operational finance management, treasury, budgeting, financial reporting and team leadership across multiple legal entities.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage treasury operations and cash flows across the group.
• Oversee liquidity, payment calendar and payment approval processes.
• Prepare budgets, rolling forecasts and management reporting.
• Monitor budget execution and analyze financial variances.
• Lead the month-end closing process and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
• Manage and develop the finance team.
• Build and improve financial processes, controls and reporting.
• Support the CFO in financial planning and business decision-making.
• Act as a key point of contact for finance-related matters across the business.

Requirements

• Experience in iGaming, Betting, FinTech, Crypto, Forex, Payments or another fast-paced digital business.
• Previous experience in a senior finance role: Deputy CFO, Head of Finance, Finance Director, Senior Finance Manager or similar.
• Strong hands-on experience in treasury, cash flow management, budgeting, forecasting and management reporting.
• Experience managing a finance team.
• Experience working with multiple legal entities.
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
• Ability to manage priorities and make financial decisions in a fast-changing environment.
• Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills.
• English — Upper-Intermediate or higher.

Will Be a Plus

• Experience in an international company.
• Experience managing cash flows across multiple entities and jurisdictions.
• Experience building or improving finance processes from scratch.
• Strong knowledge of multi-currency operations.
• Understanding of iGaming payments, PSPs and international payment infrastructure.
• Experience with financial automation and BI tools.

What We Offer

• Senior finance leadership role with direct impact on the business.
• Opportunity to work closely with the CFO and top management.
• High level of autonomy and ownership.
• International iGaming environment with multiple entities and markets.
• Opportunity to develop and scale the finance function.
• Remote work and flexible working environment.
• Competitive compensation package.
