Payments Manager

About the Role

We are looking for a Payment Manager to coordinate the integration, configuration, testing, and launch of payment providers (PSPs) and payment methods. You will work closely with internal technical teams, QA, support, and external providers to ensure smooth payment operations, reliable integrations, and timely launches.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prioritize payment method configurations to maximize efficiency, reliability, and payment performance.
• Coordinate the integration of new PSPs and payment methods with internal teams and external platform providers.
• Define and maintain technical requirements for payment integrations.
• Review API documentation, coordinate testing, analyze logs, and troubleshoot integration issues.
• Collaborate with QA and support teams to identify, investigate, and resolve payment-related issues.
• Ensure payment methods are tested, configured, and launched to production on schedule.
• Monitor the performance and stability of integrated payment solutions and initiate improvements when needed.
• Manage payment method switching in case of technical failures to minimize downtime and ensure uninterrupted payment operations.
• Analyze transaction reports and handle payment-related issues, including refunds and chargebacks.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of payment infrastructure and the principles behind international and local payment systems, including Visa, Mastercard, SEPA, and other payment methods.
• Hands-on experience with payment provider integrations via API.
• Ability to work with API documentation, testing tools, logs, and PSP technical support teams.
• Experience analyzing payment transactions, reports, refunds, and chargebacks.
• Proficiency in Excel and/or Google Sheets.
• Experience with project management tools such as Jira and Asana.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple integrations and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have

• At least 1 year of experience in payments within the betting or iGaming industry.
• Knowledge of local payment methods and regional payment market specifics
