We’re looking for a Field test engineer to work with advanced drone technologies in Ukraine. Field demonstrations, system integration, and real-world impact on UAV and defense environments.
Our client is a team of ambitious entrepreneurs building innovative solutions for various industries around the world. Among other products the company has recently launched a Visual Positioning System for UAVs designed to operate in GNSS-denied environments. The system is currently being integrated into several drone platforms in Europe (incl. Ukraine). To support local customers and ensure high-quality implementation, the company is expanding its presence in Ukraine and looking for a Field test engineer.
What you’ll do in your role:
- Become a technical expert in the Visual Positioning System product
- Conduct field demonstrations for customers
- Train clients in system usage and integration
- Providing hands-on support for integrating the system into UAV platforms
- Test new features in real Ukrainian environments
- Gather customer feedback and requirements and communicate them to the R&D team
- Contribute to product roadmap and strategic planning
What we’re looking for:
- Experience with Ardupilot configuration
- Hands-on drone operation skills (multicopters and fixed-wing UAVs)
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Good communication skills and customer-facing experience
- Upper-Intermediate or higher level of English, sufficient for confident daily communication with international teams
How to knock our socks off:
- Experience working with UAV integration or avionics systems
- Background in the Ukrainian Armed Forces
- Experience in field engineering or technical support roles
- Ability to operate in dynamic, real-world environments
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally
- Strong ownership mindset and proactive approach
- Name five or more dishes that include beets, other than borscht.
