We are seeking a highly driven and experienced Business Development Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for generating and closing sales opportunities with nutraceutical brands, health companies, and e-commerce sellers. You’ll play a key role in driving revenue growth, nurturing long-term client relationships, and supporting our mission to be the go-to private label partner in the industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to acquire new B2B clients in the nutraceutical and wellness sectors.
- Identify and qualify leads through inbound and outbound efforts (email, LinkedIn, events, etc.).
- Manage the full sales cycle—from prospecting and pitching to negotiation and closing deals.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients and key decision-makers.
- Collaborate closely with the product development and operations teams to deliver tailored solutions.
- Stay on top of market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to spot new opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activity, pipeline status, and forecasts using CRM tools.
Requirements
- 3+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally in the nutraceutical, supplement, health & wellness, or CPG sectors.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong understanding of private label or contract manufacturing business models.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and entrepreneurial spirit.
- Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).
Bonus Points For
- Existing network in the nutraceutical, CPA or DTC e-commerce space.
- Experience selling to CPA companies, Amazon brands, wellness entrepreneurs, or functional food startups.
- Knowledge of regulatory and compliance considerations in supplement manufacturing will be a plus.
