About the Role

We're building out the DTC side of our supplements brand on Shopify and need someone who owns the full conversion and revenue growth function — not just traffic. You'll be responsible for turning visitors into buyers, increasing average order value, and growing subscription revenue, while staying technically sharp enough to manage apps, brief developers, and keep the site running cleanly.

This is not an SEO role. It's a hands-on growth role for someone who thinks in funnels, tests hypotheses, and measures everything.

What You'll Own:

- Shopify site management — day-to-day ownership of the store: content updates, app configuration, QA, and keeping all moving parts aligned across promos, inventory, and paid traffic.

- Shopify apps & technical tasks — selecting, configuring, and managing apps for subscriptions, upsells, bundles, reviews, popups, shipping logic, and post-purchase flows. You don't need to code, but you need to understand how the technical side works and be able to brief developers and contractors clearly.

- Conversion rate optimization — owning CVR growth across PDP pages, landing pages, homepage, collections, cart drawer, checkout flow, CTAs, trust elements, mobile UX, offers, and site speed.

- AOV growth — testing and scaling bundles, starter kits, volume discounts, free shipping thresholds, cart upsells, post-purchase upsells, and gift-with-purchase mechanics.

- Subscription (SNS) — improving subscription take rate through toggle placement, offer mechanics, discount structure, value messaging, and subscription UX.

- A/B testing — running structured tests: hypothesis formulation, baseline definition, success metrics, variant setup, QA, result analysis, and kill/iterate/scale decisions.

- Analytics — confident work with Shopify Analytics, GA4, Meta Pixel, GTM, Triple Whale, Hotjar, Microsoft Clarity, or equivalent tools. Using heatmaps and session recordings to identify friction points, drop-off areas, and UX issues.

- Landing page optimization — building and optimizing landing pages for paid traffic with strong message match between creative, offer, and page.


Hard Skills Required:

- Proven track record growing conversion rate on a DTC e-commerce site — supplements, health, wellness, or beauty preferred.
- Experience building and managing a CRO backlog: hypothesis formation, impact/effort prioritization, test launches, and documented results.
- Understanding of fulfillment and inventory logic: out-of-stock handling, pre-order, notify-me, shipping rules, and how inventory affects promo activity.
- Understanding of unit economics: ability to evaluate how discounts, bundles, free shipping, and upsells affect both revenue and margin.
- Basic technical SEO awareness: site structure, indexation, page speed, metadata, internal linking.
- Compliance awareness for supplements/wellness: understanding of FDA/FTC guidelines and what claims are and aren't allowed.

We're building out a supplements portfolio from the ground up — new products, new brands, new categories. We need someone who has done this before and knows exactly what it takes to launch a supplement on the US market and make it stick.

Argo Brands is a US-based company operating four consumer brands. We sell across Amazon, Shopify, TikTok Shop, Walmart, Target, Kohl's and etc. We are now actively expanding our supplements and wellness portfolio and looking for an experienced Product Manager to own that growth.

This is not a support role. You will be the person responsible for defining what we build, how we build it, and when it goes to market.

The Role

You will own the full product lifecycle for our supplements line — from initial concept and market research through formulation, compliance, production, and launch. You will also take the lead on developing new supplement brands within our portfolio, identifying white space in the market and building product strategies around it.

This requires someone with deep hands-on experience in the US supplements or beauty industry who understands the regulatory environment, the supplier landscape, and what Amazon and Shopify shoppers in this category actually respond to.

Key Responsibilities
 

• Develop and maintain a long-term product roadmap for the supplements and beauty category
• Identify market gaps and white space opportunities through competitive research, customer data, and trend analysis
• Define positioning, target audience, and differentiation strategy for new products and brands
• Balance cost, formulation complexity, regulatory requirements, and market demand in product decisions
• Lead the end-to-end development process: concept, formulation briefing, sample review, testing, compliance, and launch
• Work with contract manufacturers and ingredient suppliers to develop and refine formulations
• Manage timelines, sample iterations, and quality benchmarks across multiple concurrent SKUs
• Collaborate with designers and packaging vendors to develop ready-for-market presentation
• Ensure all products meet FDA, FTC, and platform-level requirements for supplements sold in the US
• Manage product documentation: formulation specs, Supplement Facts panels, claims review, certifications, and labeling
• Coordinate third-party testing and certification where required (NSF, Informed Sport, COAs, etc.)
• Monitor product performance post-launch using Amazon reviews, customer service data, and return metrics
• Identify quality issues early and work with suppliers to resolve them
• Proactively improve existing products based on customer feedback and competitive shifts
• Build and manage relationships with US and international contract manufacturers, co-packers, and ingredient suppliers
• Evaluate suppliers on quality standards, certifications (GMP, cGMP), pricing, MOQs, and lead times
• Negotiate terms and maintain vendor accountability throughout the production process
• Analyze customer reviews, search trends, and purchase behavior to guide product development decisions
• Track competitor launches, formulation changes, pricing, and positioning on an ongoing basis
• Translate data into clear product briefs and strategic recommendations
• Lead the creation of new supplement brands within the Argo Brands portfolio — from naming and positioning through launch
• Define brand identity, product architecture, and go-to-market strategy in collaboration with the marketing team
• Build scalable product lines, not one-off SKUs

Requirements
 

• Proven track record of launching supplements or beauty products on the US market 
• Deep understanding of FDA regulations for dietary supplements, including labeling, claims, and GMP compliance
• Experience working directly with contract manufacturers and ingredient suppliers
• Strong project management skills — able to manage multiple product launches simultaneously
• Analytical mindset — comfortable pulling and interpreting data from Amazon Seller Central, reviews, and third-party tools
• Excellent English
• Self-directed and accountable — you set your own priorities and follow through
   

Strong advantage:
 

• Experience launching new brands from scratch, not just managing existing SKUs
• Familiarity with beauty or personal care product development alongside supplements
• Experience with Helium 10, Jungle Scout, or similar Amazon research tools
• Background in formulation science, nutrition, or a related field

What You’ll Be Working On:
 

• Research Amazon and other platforms to identify new product opportunities, trending categories, and market gaps.
• Analyze product performance metrics, customer reviews, pricing strategies, and demand signals.
• Track industry developments and flag relevant innovation trends.
• Build structured research reports and product briefs from scratch.
• Prepare regular competitor reports covering product launches, pricing changes, packaging updates, and marketing activity.
• Monitor competitor assortment and positioning over time.
• Identify competitive threats and highlight opportunities for differentiation.
• Search for and evaluate potential suppliers and manufacturers in the US and internationally.
• Collect and compare supplier data: capabilities, certifications, pricing, MOQs, and lead times.
• Support initial outreach and qualification of new vendors.
• Use AI tools and research platforms to speed up market analysis, product discovery, and data collection.
• Help document and improve internal research workflows and reporting standards.
• Contribute ideas for automating repetitive research tasks.

We sell across Amazon, TikTok Shop, Shopify, Walmart, Target, Kohl's, and Snappy. We're growing fast and need a sharp, reliable person to support our marketplace operations team.

This is an entry-level role. We're not looking for someone who already knows everything — we're looking for someone who is organized, analytical, persistent, and genuinely excited to learn how marketplace operations work from the inside. We'll invest in training you. In return, we need someone who takes ownership, catches mistakes before they become problems, and doesn't need to be chased.

What You'll Do

• Support day-to-day operations across four retail marketplaces: Walmart, Target, Kohl's, and Snappy
• Create and optimize product listings — titles, descriptions, bullet points, keywords, images
• Build and maintain spreadsheets, trackers, reports, and dashboards
• Monitor advertising performance and key business metrics across platforms
• Track P&L, profitability, and operational KPIs
• Automate repetitive tasks using AI tools and help improve team workflows
• Analyze data and flag opportunities or issues to the team
• Prepare reports, summaries, and presentations for management

• Students or career-starters with no direct experience — if this is you, what matters most is strong English (written and spoken), an analytical mindset, high attention to detail, and the ability to stay focused and accurate on repetitive tasks for extended periods. • Candidates with 1+ year of experience on Amazon, Walmart, or any other marketplace — your hands-on knowledge of listing management, advertising metrics, or operational workflows is a strong advantage.
