    • Strong communication skills and the ability to work asynchronously in a distributed team
    • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment with high ownership expectations
    • Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written

    Who we are:

Adaptiq is a technology hub specializing in building, scaling, and supporting R&D teams for high-end, fast-growing product companies in a wide range of industries.

    About the Product:
Our client is building a platform designed to intercept and govern high-velocity AI traffic in real time. It inspects user prompts, AI responses, coding-agent actions, and enterprise search outputs across HTTP streams, IDE plugins, LLM APIs, and internal microservicesβ€”applying need-to-know access filters, policy transformations, and audit controls.

The system operates within sub-second decision loops, performs live data-stream classification, and enforces role- and context-based knowledge isolation, all while supporting deployment at global enterprise scale. Standard access-control models don’t hold in the AI era, which makes this engineering challenge both technically demanding and mission-critical: the team is building the control plane that keeps AI systems operating within strict business and security boundaries..

    About the Role:
We are seeking a Middle Full-Stack Engineer (Backend-oriented) to join a remote, product-focused team building a real-time AI-governance platform. In this role, you will contribute to backend development using Node.jsβ€”implementing services, APIs, and platform featuresβ€”while supporting front-end tasks in React as needed.

You will work closely with senior engineers, participate in design discussions, and take ownership of feature implementation end-to-end. This role is ideal for someone looking to deepen backend expertise while contributing across the full stack in a fast-moving, highly technical environment

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Implement, maintain, and test backend services and APIs (Node.js/TypeScript) for a real-time AI-governance platform
    • Contribute to front-end functionality (React) when required for feature completion
    • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code aligned with best engineering practices
    • Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving team standards
    • Implement features end-to-endβ€”from requirements through development, testing, and deployment
    • Contribute to tooling, containerized environments, and CI/CD-related tasks
    • Collaborate with product, engineering, and AI/security team members to deliver high-quality features
    • Support debugging, optimization, and reliability improvements of existing systems

    Required Competence and Skills:

    • 3–6 years of professional experience in software development
    • 2–4 years of hands-on experience with Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript
    • Working knowledge of React and modern front-end patterns
    • Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL or equivalent)
    • Familiarity with cloud-native development practices and containerized environments
    • Understanding of service-oriented architecture, APIs, and deployment workflows
    • Good communication skills and ability to collaborate in a distributed team
    • Ability to self-organize, learn quickly, and adapt to a dynamic startup-like environment
    • Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written

    Nice to have:

    • Experience building CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or similar)
    • Experience with Python and/or Go
    • Production experience with TypeScript-based Node.js services
    • Exposure to LLM/AI-driven applications (LLM APIs, vector DBs, orchestration tools)
    • Experience integrating ML/AI models into production systems
    • Background in B2B or security-oriented products
    • BSc in Computer Science or related field

    • Experience with Helm and Terraform (or other IaC tools)
    • Solid background in CI/CD pipelines, especially Jenkins
    • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS)
    • Strong grasp of observability tools: Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk, Zabbix, etc.

    • Proficiency in any scripting language (Python, Groovy, etc.)
    • Experience with Helm
    • Familiarity with Ansible or other config management tools
    • Linux administration background
    • CKA-certified (or interested – we’ll support certification).
