About the Role

We are looking for a Direct Communication Channels Manager responsible for SMS, WhatsApp, Telegram, and Push notifications.

This is an operational and technical role at the intersection of vendor management and integrations. You will independently source providers, negotiate commercial terms, integrate them into Smartico via API, and ensure that communication channels remain stable, efficient, and cost-effective.

The role is focused on the Indian market, with high traffic volumes and frequent provider rotation. Routes may have a short lifecycle, while pricing and delivery quality can fluctuate significantly. OTP traffic also comes with the risk of fraudulent attacks. This is not a “set it and forget it” environment — communication channels require daily operational monitoring and fast response.

You will also act as the technical owner of provider integrations within the department. Postman, webhooks, and API documentation will be part of your everyday toolkit rather than tasks delegated to developers.

Responsibilities

Provider Sourcing & Vendor Management

Systematically source new providers to expand geographic coverage, reduce costs, improve deliverability, or introduce new functionality;
Evaluate providers based on geographic coverage, pricing, throughput (messages/minute), API documentation quality, reputation, and overall reliability;
Request and compare commercial terms and maintain a database of tested providers to avoid duplicate testing;
Support contract processes in cooperation with the Legal team.

Technical Integrations

Test and debug provider APIs using Postman, including send-message methods, request structures, callbacks, and responses;
Configure webhooks in Smartico and transfer tested setups into production configurations;
Conduct technical tests with local testers before signing agreements and after native integration;
Run marketing A/B tests to validate channel effectiveness before full rollout;
Open and manage tickets for native integrations with Smartico;
Diagnose integration issues, including failed sends, messages marked as delivered by the provider but not received by users, and missing delivery/click callbacks.

Channel Health & Operational Control

Perform daily monitoring using Smartico Data Studio, provider dashboards, Firebase for Push, and local testing;
Monitor fail rates, with a 10% failure rate serving as a trigger for investigation;
Manage OTP routes, including caps and alerts (Karix), analyze traffic legitimacy together with the Product team, and mitigate potentially costly fraudulent attacks;
Control communication costs, including SMS length and per-character overcharges, per-player limits, and overall caps;
Monitor provider balances, ensure timely top-ups, reconcile invoices, and manage channel budgets.

Incident Management & Communication

Handle incidents such as mass delivery failures, sender blocking, and OTP attacks. Initial response is expected within one hour, with an emergency solution within several hours, followed by a post-mortem;
Escalate major issues to the CRM Lead and keep the team and CVM informed about global incidents;
Manage IVR content and routes;
Advise CVM and Product teams on communication channels and webhook configurations;
Prepare reports on channel performance for management.
 

Requirements
Experience working with SMS aggregators and/or WhatsApp BSPs at scale, with specific examples of geographies, traffic volumes, provider changes, and their financial impact;
Strong technical background: confident use of REST APIs and Postman, webhook configuration, and ability to work directly with API documentation. A practical technical task will be included in the interview process;
Vendor management experience, including price negotiations, route testing, and the ability to distinguish actual provider capabilities from sales promises;
Understanding of channel economics, including cost per message, conversion rates, and route profitability/ROI;
Experience with OTP traffic and understanding of risks such as SMS pumping/artificial traffic is a strong advantage;
English sufficient for professional written communication with international providers.

3. Post-Production Review

• Review the edited video during post-production.
• Check that the edit follows the approved script and intended narrative structure.
• Confirm that the proposed B-roll, graphics, maps, on-screen text and other visual elements have been implemented correctly.
• Identify missing, inaccurate or distracting visual elements.
• Provide clear and consolidated feedback to the video editor.
• Identify hooks and segments that can be repurposed into Shorts, Reels and TikTok videos.
  
  The exact script length will depend on the topic, but most videos will be approximately 12–20 minutes long.
  
  Requirements
• B2-C2 or native-level written English.
• Demonstrable experience writing long-form YouTube scripts.
• Understanding of YouTube storytelling, hooks, pacing and audience retention.
• Ability to write natural spoken English rather than formal articles.
• Attention to detail and respect for deadlines.
• Ability to work independently.
• Experience with travel, lifestyle, documentary, educational or creator-led content is an advantage.
• Familiarity with YouTube analytics, titles and thumbnails is an advantage.

• AI tools such as ChatGPT or Claude may be used for research and drafting. However, the final script must be original, fact-checked, natural and carefully edited. We are not looking for unedited AI-generated text.

We are looking for Senior Content Marketing Manager who is comfortable with being strategic when it matters, and ready to roll up their sleeves. This is a hands-on role where you will do the thinking and the execution

On any given week, your responsibilities will span across strategic planning and hands-on execution:

• Subject Matter Research: Interview technical leads in the CTO Office regarding complex deployments (e.g., Agentic AI).
• Sales Enablement: Write two-page service overviews, pitch decks, and speaker notes for webinars.
• Content & Campaigns: Build messaging frameworks for core service areas, ICPs, buyer personas, blogs, and promotional videos.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with digital marketing, paid search, content, ABM, and sales teams to ensure unified messaging across all client-facing touchpoints.

Responsibilities:

Positioning & Messaging

• Write and maintain the messaging frameworks for N-iX's key services and solutions areas, including the core arguments for why a client should choose us, tailored for different buyers (CTO, VP Engineering, CFO, Procurement) and backed by real examples, rather than generic claims.
• Run competitive research against our main rivals, and turn the findings into comparison documents the sales team can use in live deals.
• Write case studies, review deal outcomes, and collect feedback from delivery leads quarterly to test whether our messaging still matches what buyers value.
• Translate internal services methodologies and frameworks (e.g. our APEX framework) into plain-language descriptions for our target buyers.

Sales materials and campaign content 

• Create solution briefs, presentations, and toolkits that sales and delivery teams can use in customer meetings and engagements.
• Build and maintain pitch decks, and service one-pagers, for key services, and solutions areas.
• Take technical content, including case studies, engineering write-ups, project summaries, and turn it into polished, client-ready material that leads with business results.
• Write clear briefs for graphic and motion designers to ensure visual assets align with the technical context and the N-iX brand.
• Develop marketing kits for campaigns, technology partnerships, and client success stories, including ebooks, web copy, social media copy blocks, video content, campaign ad copy and talking points that paid search, content, and ABM teams can use.
• Work with N-iX subject matter experts on messaging for webcasts, webinars & offline events, including storylines, speaker talking points, and webinar abstracts.

 Market & Buyer Intelligence

• Monitor the market and translate trends into actionable strategies for the broader team.
• Track competitor moves, including new services and solutions launches, rebranding, analyst rankings. Flag what is relevant to how we position ourselves.
• Partner with the market intelligence team to gather research, sales feedback, and client data to build clear pictures of who our buyers are, what they care about, and how they make decisions. Feed this into campaigns and content so they stay rooted in evidence, rather than guesswork.

Required Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in B2B product, solutions, or services marketing within the IT services, technology consulting, or enterprise software sectors.
• Track record of building messaging frameworks, running marketing campaigns, competitive positioning, and sales enablement materials that contributed to pipeline or revenue growth.
• Strong ability to understand complex technical topics e.g., AI/ML, data modernization and software development concepts, and explain them to business and technology decision makers.
• Exceptional English copywriting and editing skills: you should be equally at home writing a concise two-page solution brief as confidently as you can build a high-impact sales deck.
• Experience marketing to senior technical and business buyers (CTO, CFO, VP Engineering, Procurement) across international markets (North America, UK, or DACH).
• Hands-on experience with competitive intelligence: battlecards, win/loss programmes, and primary buyer research.
• Ability to work across international cross-functional stakeholders (engineering, sales, design, communications) and drive projects to completion independently.
• Experience working closely with creative teams, with a sharp eye for high-quality outputs.
• Familiarity with the latest martech tools, including GenAI, and the active use of AI tools to improve workflow performance.
• Comfortable in an environment where processes are still being built and priorities change.

Preferred Experience:

• Direct experience in AI/ML, cloud, data, or software engineering services.
• Experience with partner marketing - technology alliances, SI partnerships, co-marketing programmes.
