We are looking for an experienced Unreal Engine Engineer to lead a small team of two Unreal developers and take full ownership of a production-stage Unreal Engine–based application used in e-commerce by real customers. This is a client-facing, high-impact product in which stability, visual quality, and performance directly affect the user experience.

The role combines hands-on Unreal development with technical leadership. You will also work as part of a cross-functional product team, collaborating closely with front-end and back-end engineers to ensure seamless integration between Unreal Engine and the rest of the application stack.

YOE: 5 years

Core Requirements:

• C++ Unreal development experience
• Experience compiling Unreal Engine from source
• Strong understanding of Unreal Engine architecture, Blueprints, and optimization for production use
• Proven ability to own and maintain a live Unreal Engine-based product
• Demonstrated experience leading or mentoring other developers
• Ability to make architectural and technical decisions that ensure stability, scalability, and performance
• Comfort working in a cross-functional team with front-end, back-end, and business stakeholders
• Oversee the coverage of existing and new functionalities with autotests
• Perforce version control
• Ukrainian/russian language is needed to communicate with the team
   

Nice to Have:

• Online game development and support 
• 3D modeling or visualization (3ds Max, Maya, Blender, etc.)
• Rendering engines (V-Ray, Corona, etc.)
• WebGL 
• Python or other scripting languages

• English language knowledge, sufficient for technical collaboration

   

Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee the Unreal Engine development team (2 developers)
• Ensure stability, performance, and scalability of the production UE application
• Lead the effort to implement a public API for UE application
• Act as the Unreal Engine representative in a cross-functional product team
• Collaborate closely with front-end and back-end developers to align architecture and integrations
• Develop and improve tools for 3D asset assembly and scene management
• Work with content creators and artists to achieve optimal asset integration and visual fidelity
• Identify and automate repetitive or inefficient workflows
• Maintain and evolve the automated rendering and image production pipeline
• Continuously analyze and optimize memory usage, load times, and rendering performance
• Prototype and implement a new product hypothesis in collaboration with other product team members
• Provide technical feedback, documentation, and process improvements
• Automated application and asset update to the latest stable UE version on a yearly basis.

• Work remotely with consistent availability during core hours or from the office in Warsaw.
• Communicate proactively with the team and management about progress, blockers, and priorities
• Coordinate Unreal development efforts with front-end and back-end teams
• Manage personal and team workload effectively, ensuring delivery reliability
• Identify and drive improvements across technology, process, and pipeline
• Maintain transparency on issues and deadlines

Ми розробляємо симулятор БПЛА літакового типу (fixed-wing) для відпрацювання кастомних місій і сценаріїв. Фокус — реалістична фізика, інтеграція з зовнішніми моделями та побудова інструментів для тренування і тестування.

Технологічний стек: MATLAB / Gazebo (фізика) + Unreal Engine (візуалізація, логіка, інструменти)

Що будете робити

• Інтегрувати Unreal Engine із зовнішніми фізичними симуляторами (MATLAB, Gazebo), будувати стабільний data flow між процесами
• Розробляти місії та сценарії (логіка, тригери, взаємодії, training workflows)
• Створювати інструменти для моделювання, візуалізації та дебагу поведінки БПЛА
• Працювати на стику графіки, фізики та систем управління

Що важливо

• 3+ роки комерційного досвіду з C++ та Unreal Engine
• Впевнене володіння Blueprints, Gameplay Framework, World Partition
• Розуміння Inter-Process Communication (IPC)
• Базове розуміння мультиплеєра та мережевої реплікації в Unreal

Буде плюсом

• Досвід роботи з Gazebo та/або MATLAB
• Розуміння фізичних моделей та аеродинаміки
• Знання MAVLink, досвід інтеграції з PX4 / ArduPilot
• Досвід розробки плагінів для Unreal Engine

We are looking for a skilled Unreal Engine 5 Developer to join our startup. You will be responsible for building complex game systems, with a core focus on multiplayer replication and integrating AI solutions.
 

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize gameplay systems in C++ and Blueprints.
• Architect and implement robust multiplayer replication for online features.
• Design and integrate AI behavior systems (Behavior Trees, EQS, etc.).
• BP to C++ migration
• Develop advanced AI agents leveraging Cloudie AI for seamless cloud-side decision-making and logic execution.
• Collaborate on core engine architecture and performance profiling.
   

Requirements:

• Proven experience with UE5 (C++ and Blueprints).
• Deep understanding of networking, replication, and latency optimization.
• Experience with AI implementation and NPC logic in game engines.
