    We’re looking for a VFX Artist to create high-quality real-time effects and help shape the visual identity of our horror game. If you have experience in Unreal Engine and enjoy crafting eerie atmospheres, paranormal effects, dynamic environments, and immersive visual storytelling, we’d love to hear from you!

     

    Responsibilities

    • Create a wide range of high-quality VFX (fog, smoke, fire, distortion, blood, paranormal effects, etc.) to enhance immersion and horror atmosphere.
    • Collaborate with artists, designers, and programmers to ensure VFX aligns with gameplay, level design, and performance targets.
    • Research and experiment with innovative techniques to push the boundaries of horror VFX in Unreal Engine.
    • Improve VFX workflows and pipelines to ensure efficiency and scalability.
    • Optimize VFX assets and materials for performance without sacrificing visual fidelity.

     

    Requirements

    • At least 2 years of experience in real-time VFX creation for games.
    • Strong proficiency with Unreal Engine's Niagara System, and Material Editor.
    • Deep understanding of particle systems and physics-based effects.
    • Experience in balancing visual impact with performance constraints.
    • Proven problem-solving and prototyping ability for unique horror effects.
    • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across disciplines.
    • Passion for horror, psychological thrillers, or atmospheric games.

     

    Nice to Have

    • Experience in the AA or indie segment of the market.

    We are looking for a skilled Unreal Engine Cinematic Artist / Trailer Editor to craft high-quality in-engine footage that captures the atmospheric tension and unsettling horror of our game. This role requires expertise in scene composition, camera work, and lighting to create immersive trailers and teasers that align with our art direction, gameplay mechanics, and lore. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of cinematic pacing in horror, using movement, framing, and sound to build suspense and deliver impactful moments.

     

    Qualifications:

    • Proficiency in Unreal Engine (UE4/UE5) – Strong experience using Sequencer, camera systems, lighting, and rendering for cinematic content.
    • Horror Cinematic Expertise – Deep understanding of horror pacing, tension-building, and psychological framing techniques to enhance fear and unease.
    • Scene Setup & Composition – Ability to construct cinematic scenes using the latest approved game assets (models, materials, shaders, levels, etc.) while ensuring artistic and narrative consistency.
    • Lighting & Atmosphere Control – Experience crafting moody, high-contrast lighting, environmental fog, and subtle visual cues to enhance psychological horror.
    • Camera Work & Suspense Techniques – Skilled at creating slow, deliberate camera movements, unexpected cuts, and tight framing to heighten tension.
    • Video Editing & Post-Processing – Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar for refining footage, pacing, and horror-appropriate transitions.
    • Basic Animation Knowledge – Familiarity with animation blueprints, Sequencer keyframes, and pre-existing animations for character and object movement.

    • Collaborate with Marketing & Art Teams:
      • Work closely with marketing and creative leads to ensure horror trailers capture the game’s unique selling points.

    About The Role
    We are looking for a Senior C++ Engineer with Unreal Engine 5 expertise to join our team and help develop immersive and scalable gameplay experiences. This role requires strong programming fundamentals, with a focus on solid systems architecture, object-oriented programming (OOP), and networking.

     

    You will be responsible for developing and optimizing core gameplay systems, and implementing multiplayer networking features.

     

    This is an opportunity to work closely with a passionate team of designers, artists, and sound engineers to shape the future of our game.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and optimize gameplay systems using C++ & Blueprints.
    • Implement multiplayer networking (Replication, RPCs, session management, etc.).
    • Frontend Focus: Implement and refine gameplay mechanics, such as AI behavior, procedural events, and immersive horror elements.
    • Backend Focus: Design and develop backend services for matchmaking, player progression, and data storage, ensuring secure and scalable server-side architecture.
    • Debug and optimize performance for PC and consoles.
    • Work closely with designers, artists, and sound engineers to deliver a high-quality, immersive experience.

     

    Requirements

    • Strong C++ programming skills with a deep understanding of OOP, systems architecture, and networking.
    • Proficiency in Unreal Engine 5 (UE5), including Blueprints and engine internals.
    • Good level of data transactions knowledge (for frontend-focused engineers).
