Our client is building a digital twin engine that simulates enterprise IT environments (cloud, SaaS, identity, endpoints, networks, security products) with high fidelity, then runs attacks from agentic red teams against them to capture realistic telemetry for AI security training and evaluation.

This is a zero-to-one build — you'll define the architecture and technical direction from scratch.
 

Who we're looking for

A hybrid of offensive security expert and production software engineer — someone who thinks like an attacker and can turn that into a reliable, scalable system. Not a pure pentester, not a pure backend engineer.
 

Scope of Work

• Own the architecture and hands-on development of the digital twin engine.
• Build high-fidelity simulations of company stacks — users, networks, cloud, SaaS, identity, endpoints, security products.

Requirements

• Deep offensive/defensive security knowledge, including how security products (EDR/XDR/SIEM) work internally.
• Cloud security experience (AWS/Azure/GCP) and familiarity with anti-forensics techniques.
• Ability to judge whether a scenario and its telemetry are realistic, too easy, or ambiguous.
• Strong software engineering skills — proven experience shipping and operating production systems.
• Experience building cyber ranges, digital twins, security labs, or large-scale simulated environments.
• Strong knowledge of security telemetry and data pipelines (cloud, SaaS, identity, endpoints, networks).
• Comfortable leading ambiguous, zero-to-one development under uncertainty.
• Strong project planning, technical coordination, and code review skills.

• Experience in complex mid-market sales with multiple decision-makers, 1–6 month sales cycles, pilots, and technical implementation.
• Experience launching B2B products in new geographic markets and owning commercial results.
• Strong understanding of the unit economics of different sales channels and GTM motions.
• Experience leading sales teams, including pipeline management, coaching, and performance tracking.
• Experience selling into traditional, non-tech industries and engaging decision-makers through phone and in-person outreach.

About the Product

We build a marketing data platform for the pharma industry. Our clients are pharmaceutical brands, and the campaigns reach verified healthcare professionals.

The platform enables marketing teams to run campaigns across channels such as Meta, LinkedIn, and programmatic advertising, and to measure campaign performance. We are looking for a Lead Platform Engineer to lead the engineering team behind a large-scale web platform used by pharma marketing teams to run and measure their campaigns.

This is a hands-on technical leadership role. You will lead a small team of developers and a QA engineer while continuing to write code yourself. Our partner is looking for a Senior Backend Developer who thrives in a deeply hands-on environment and enjoys being close to the code on a daily basis. This role is heavily focused on building, optimising, and scaling backend services in a high-load system where performance and reliability are critical.

You’ll be working on complex, real-time challenges at the core of their platform – improving latency, ensuring high availability, and making systems more efficient at scale. This is not a coordination-heavy role; it’s for someone who enjoys writing production code, solving tough engineering problems, and seeing the direct impact of their work.

Main Responsibilities

• Work as part of a cross-functional team owning a core product within the platform
• Design, build, and deliver new backend features end-to-end in a distributed environment
• Write high-quality, production-level code daily, contributing directly to a high-load, scalable system
• Take ownership of services handling financial transactions at scale, with a strong focus on reliability
and accuracy
• Proactively suggest and implement improvements in architecture, processes, and development

Mandatory Requirements

• Solid experience with Node.js/TypeScript is ideal, but we also welcome experts in other OOP languages such as Java, Python, C++, C#, or Go.
• Strong understanding of asynchronous programming techniques
• Experience with distributed systems and messaging systems (Apache Kafka, gRPC)
• Knowledge of relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL), columnar databases (ClickHouse), and
NoSQL technologies (DynamoDB, MongoDB)
• Skilled in developing and maintaining end-to-end and unit tests
• Proven track record of developing production-ready solutions
• Degree in Computer Science or related field
