What You’ll DoPipelines & Warehouse

• Design, build, and maintain scalable ELT/ETL pipelines ingesting data from product surfaces, payment providers, and third-party APIs
• Architect and manage our cloud data warehouse (Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift) from the ground up
• Implement orchestration workflows (Airflow, Prefect, or similar) for reliability and full observability

• Optimise warehouse performance and cost through query tuning, clustering, and sensible warehouse sizing

   

Transformation, Quality & Governance

• Develop clean, well-documented, testable transformation layers (dbt or equivalent), applying dimensional modelling principles
• Build and govern a canonical semantic layer so metric and entity definitions stay consistent across every BI tool and consumer
• Define and enforce data quality standards, SLAs, tests, and monitoring across critical datasets, and maintain a central data catalogue with clear lineage

• Build security and governance into the platform: RBAC, PII classification and masking, encryption, and retention and deletion workflows that support privacy requests

   

Product & Engineering Partnership

• Partner with Product and Growth to instrument event tracking (Segment, Amplitude, or similar) and deliver datasets that power funnels, subscription metrics (MRR, churn, LTV), and A/B test reporting
• Collaborate with Software Engineers on data contract design, API logging, and Change Data Capture where needed

• Champion DataOps practices: version control, CI/CD for data, and documentation-as-code

   

What We’re Looking For (Must-Have)

• 3+ years of professional experience as a Data Engineer or in a closely related role
• Strong command of SQL and at least one of Python or Scala for data processing
• Hands-on experience with a modern cloud data warehouse (Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift)
• Experience with workflow orchestration tools (Airflow, Prefect, Dagster, or equivalent)
• Prior experience at a B2C SaaS, subscription, or marketplace business, with a grasp of funnels, churn, and LTV
• Solid understanding of data modelling principles and experience with dbt or a similar transformation framework
• Proven ability to design and scale batch and/or streaming data pipelines in production
• A strong sense of data ownership — you treat data as a product and hold a high bar for quality and reliability

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager / Product Lead to lead our web-based AI companionship products and drive their next stage of growth.

You will be ultimately responsible for achieving LTV and PMF targets — owning product strategy, leading a cross-functional team, and improving retention and monetization through data-driven development and experimentation.

We are evangelists of the Product Engineering culture and aim to maximize the number of roles that deliver value to users end-to-end. This means you will manage and coach a team of Product Engineers who are responsible for the full development chain: from analysis to delivery.

We also expect you to conduct your own deep analytics, be AI-native — experience with vibe coding features would be great — and consider final quantifiable value to be king.

About the role
You'll take full ownership of Payment Orchestration - the flagship product at the core of how Solidgate helps clients move money.

At the center sits the Payment Router: the system where each client decides where, and in what priority, to route their payments, and which capabilities to apply. You'll also grow the systems around it that let clients run the full routing lifecycle - creating connector accounts, configuring routing, testing and analytics, monitoring and support.

Your north star: maximize each client's GMV and margin uplift while minimizing the time and effort they spend setting it up and keeping it running.

This is a hands-on, execution-first role. Most of your time goes into shipping inside a genuinely deep, detail-heavy domain, with a meaningful slice reserved for shaping where the product goes next.

You will be part of a collaborative data team working alongside data designers, data engineers, and platform specialists. The team operates in an agile environment, shares knowledge actively, and follows established data design standards and review practices.

Position overview

We are looking for a Senior Data Designer who can operate as the bridge between business stakeholders and engineering — someone equally comfortable running a requirements workshop and designing a Kimball-style dimensional model. This is not a pure modelling role: you'll investigate source systems, challenge and shape business requirements before any design work starts, and turn that understanding into governed, well-documented data platform designs that engineering teams can implement. You will contribute to data ingestion design, transformation logic, and data harmonization while working closely with stakeholders and platform teams.

Technology stack

Core: SQL, dimensional/Kimball data modelling, enterprise data warehouse tools, cloud data platforms

Responsibilities

• Design and document Enterprise Data Warehouse objects: data models, source-to-target mappings, model diagrams, and supporting design documentation that engineers deliver from
• Work with stakeholders and source-system SMEs to onboard new data sources and adapt designs to what each source provides
• Clarify the intent behind requirements before designing: why the stakeholder needs it and whether existing structures already cover it
• Profile and analyze source data to validate design assumptions
• Define data quality rules as part of designs for downstream teams to implement
• Investigate reported data issues, identify root causes, and propose design-level fixes
• Take designs through peer and design review; give and take constructive challenge
• Keep stakeholders informed: raise issues early, ask instead of assuming, follow up until unblocked

Requirements

• Strong practical foundations of dimensional modeling — able to design warehouse models from raw source data and explain the reasoning behind design choices
• Hands-on experience producing source-to-target mapping documentation
• Working understanding of data platform layering and data load approaches
• Confident SQL for data profiling and validation
• Strong written and spoken English; comfortable gathering requirements and managing stakeholder expectations
