Overview:

SOFTSWISS is hiring a Payment Operations Specialist to join our Finance Team. We are looking for a detail-driven and proactive professional to oversee treasury operations, ensuring optimal liquidity, cost efficiency, and strong banking partnerships that support the company’s global growth.
 

Purpose of the role:

You will manage daily treasury operations and liquidity to ensure smooth payment flows, cost efficiency, and financial stability across the business. Your work will drive optimal cash allocation, reduce banking expenses, and strengthen relationships with financial partners, directly supporting SOFTSWISS’s growth and operational resilience.
 

Key responsibilities:

• Oversee the full payment cycle: coordinate with request initiators, Legal, and Finance teams, execute payments, verify their success, and liaise with banks
• Daily 7–14 day liquidity forecasting, account balancing (1C, Tableau, merchant reports), and routing payments based on limits and currency
• Monitoring bank fees and selecting the most cost-effective banks to minimize commissions
• Strict verification of invoices against internal policies and system details
• Investigation of delays/blocks and Root Cause Analysis
• Daily downloading and processing of bank statements
• Reconciling balances (1C, Tableau, merchant reports) to ensure data is updated by the start of the business day
• Process Improvement: maintaining knowledge bases (Confluence), testing new features, and automating routine tasks (Excel macros, smart tables, No-code tools)

FINANCIAL OWNER & CONTROLLING

You will responsible for building and owning Clearly’s financial function end-to-end. You will act as a financial partner, ensuring that the company has the structure, visibility, and discipline required to scale sustainably.

This role combines hands-on execution (QuickBooks, reporting) with strategic ownership (forecasting, budgeting, investor reporting, financial setup).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
 

Financial Strategy & Planning

• Own and continuously refine the company’s financial planning and forecasting
• Build and maintain revenue forecasts (across geographies, B2C and B2B streams)
• Improve and manage budgeting processes

Financial Operations & Accounting

• Own and manage QuickBooks for accurate and timely accounting

Revenue, Payments & VAT

• Own&Optimize financial flows related to Stripe and other payment providers

Investor Reporting & Financial Visibility

• Prepare and maintain investor-ready financial reports

• Support development and scaling of B2B revenue streams

REQUIREMENTS

• 4+ years in Finance, Accounting, or FP&A roles (startup or scale-up preferred)
• Strong experience with QuickBooks (or similar accounting tools)

• Experience managing VAT and multi-country financial operations (EU)
• Experience working with Stripe or similar payment systems

In this role, you will

• Support tax compliance processes for group companies across multiple jurisdictions, including Cyprus, the USA, and Portugal

In the position of Financial Manager of Payment Methods, you will communicate with representatives of providers in English, process large datasets, and participate in process automation.
 

Your tasks:

• Monthly filing of Payment Service Provider (PSP) reporting: Offloading cash flow data, transforming and preparing raw data for analysis.
• Finding and analyzing errors in PSP operation, and proposing solutions.
• Active communication with representatives of payment systems (confident English is required).

• Deep familiarity with Web3 ecosystems and the legal/regulatory landscape across jurisdictions.
• Strong understanding of crypto-friendly jurisdictions and regulatory frameworks—especially across the UAE, Europe, and other relevant markets.
• Experience taking ownership of both finance and legal functions, ideally within high-growth or frontier industries.
• Demonstrated ability to implement financial systems, reporting frameworks, and internal controls from scratch.
