We run a B2B data platform for the entertainment industry — it tracks talent, who represents them, the deals they're doing, and the data surrounding all of it. The product is established and has been around for almost 10 years with paying customers; we're not a pre-launch startup.
 

We're rebuilding the platform from Symfony/Angular to Django and React, and we're hiring a senior developer to lead the rebuild — owning the architecture, setting technical direction, and assigning and reviewing work for our current developer. After the rebuild ships, you'll stay on as the long-term owner of the system. 

This is a permanent role, not a contract that ends with the migration.

We want more than a ticket-taker. You should understand the business logic behind what you're building, push back when a requirement doesn't match how users actually work, and drive architecture decisions.

Must have

• 6+ years of professional Python/Django experience
• Strong experience building REST APIs with Django REST Framework
• Has built and shipped systems from scratch, and owned a codebase long-term
