Senior Java Developer
Numerical Technologies LTD is a provider of custom software solutions and services specializing in risk, limits, and regulatory capital. We are currently looking for a Senior Java Developer to join our team.
What you will be doing:
As part of the team, you will be participating in a project for a leading US financial institution. You will develop, maintain, and support software features, write scalable and high-performance Java code, optimize application performance, and work on complex backend systems. You will collaborate with the engineering team to meet requirements and ensure code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and system design.
Project: Development of high-performance software solutions for credit electronic and algorithmic trading.
What we’re looking for:
- 5+ years of experience in Java development, preferably in FinTech.
- Strong Core Java programming skills.
- Solid understanding of algorithms, data structures, and data modeling.
- Experience with performance optimization and memory management.
- Strong software architecture and system design skills.
- Ability to test your own code to ensure quality.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with team members.
- University diploma (Bachelor’s degree or above) required.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in an international environment.
Upper-intermediate English level or higher.
What will be a plus:
- Experience or knowledge of Credit E-Trading and Algorithmic Trading.
- Experience in related financial markets, such as Interest Rate Trading.
- Knowledge of Python or Rust.
