Education

Integrated Digital Expert system is a monitoring and diagnostics system. It fulfils both local and remote data access and analytics requirement, as well as local and remote troubleshooting purpose.

• Responsibilities:

  At least 4 years of creating and executing test cases
  • Working knowledge of functional and non-functional software testing, the software test life cycle, and various test design methodologies (function, performance, accessibility, scenario etc.).
  • Test cases creation and execution based on Customer and Software requirements
  • Python 3+ years of experience
  • Experience of setting up testing framework from scratch
  • Experience in testing of Backend (API) and data quality
  • Knowledge of API testing tooling like Postman, Swagger
  • DBs basics and SQL database usage expert
  • Familiar with IoT OR Time series data handing knowledge
  • Linux knowledge
  • Experience with AWS services
  • CI/CD (Jenkins)
  • Experience with Performance testing
  • Good soft skills in communication.
  • Exemplary verbal and written communication skills (English).

About the project

Our customer is a privately held financial services consulting firm, which provides its services in following sectors:

• Direct lending
• Commercial real estate
• Residential mortgages
• Structured & speciality finance

Its clients include the world's leading asset managers, insurance companies, institutional investors, service providers, law firms and banks.

Our client currently has multiple .NET applications that utilize outsourced application development: in the residential mortgage origination and serving domain, and in the fund of fund management domain.

• They are built on Microsoft .NET Web technology stack with MS SQL server database
• The applications are deployed in Microsoft Azure IAAS / PAAS services
• Full development lifecycle is supported with Development / Test, QA, UAT and Production nodes
• Agile development methodology is utilised. JIRA is used for requirement and project management
• All applications are in production, with on-going functional enhancements and features being added

Position Overview

You will be working closely with our clients' team in a team extension format. The client's office is located in the EST time zone and you are expected to join the daily stand up meetings, planning meetings, etc. (usually in the morning EST time)

The software ingests data from various sources and creates positions, cash flows, net present values, expenses, interest, principal repayments and various analytics based on formulas. This information resides in a database. The users can produce reports in Excel and PDF formats or publish to a Business Intelligence tool that allows to create custom reports and views. Currently Power BI is used, though it is possible that another solution will be used in the future.

Our client needs help with 2 projects:

• Managing the receipt and upload of files, implementation of new and changes to the existing models, data repositories that populate BI tools, BI reports and templates.
• Optimisation and customisation of large scale reports for some of the clients (may have 100’s of 1,000’s records). In order to generate a report, you will have to consume data from an API and / or flat files and apply custom logic that may be customized for each client, 

This role requires experience in the following technologies:

• Microsoft .NET Framework 4.8
• Microsoft ASP.NET MVC
• Microsoft SQL Server 2022
• Microsoft SQL Reporting services (SSRS)
• Microsoft Power BI

It is nice to Have:

• Experience in high availability Web farm deployment architecture
• Deployment of applications in a virtual/cloud environment preferably Microsoft Azure / HPC experience
• Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)

Our perfect candidate should have:

• 3-5 years programming experience
• At least 3 years experience in .NET technologies
• Experience in both front end and server side (web services) development, using .NET
• Experience working with Power BI
• Participation in several different application developments in their chosen technology stack, assuming roles that show a progressing and maturing skill set over time
• Experience with agile development methodologies and understanding of roles within an agile methodology

We are seeking a motivated DevOps Engineer to join our infrastructure team. This position is ideal for someone with foundational technical knowledge who is eager to grow their skills in cloud technologies, automation, and DevOps practices with a particular emphasis on improving observability. You will work alongside senior team members to maintain infrastructure, implement automation, and enhance our monitoring capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining and troubleshooting cloud infrastructure

• Contribute to infrastructure as code development using Terraform and GitOps approaches
