We are looking for a Senior PHP Engineer for a medical platform project; the product covers up to 10% of the US market.

We have a legacy V1 system based on the tech stack I included in the original message. We’re looking for engineers (or preferably a small team) to maintain this system over the period of roughly 12 months. This would involve fixing bugs, servicing customer enhancement requests, and making sure the system continues to be operational.

Responsibilities:
- Develop efficient, testable, and reusable PHP modules.
- Solve performance and scalability challenges in high-load environments.
- Actively participate in quality assurance processes, including design and code reviews, unit testing, bug fixing, and ensuring operational readiness.
- Work within agile methodologies (Scrum, TDD) to deliver high-quality software.
- Use and maintain tools for source control (Git), issue tracking (JIRA), dependency management (Composer), CI/CD (GitLab), and containerization (Docker).
