    • Set technical standards through example, code reviews, and shared ownership.
    • Manage Internal and external platform resources.
    • Manage platform (Pragma) and server architecture (Hathora) relationships.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS WE LOOK FOR:

    • 6+ years of backend or platform engineering experience, preferably in games or real-time services.
    • Experience shipping and operating a session-based live service title.

    • Comfortable working across multiple time zones. (Team based globally from EU-Central to US-West)
    • Passionate about building reliable systems that support great gameplay.

    WHY WORK WITH US?

    • We are committed to making great games with our first title Last Flag coming out soon.
    • You can work fully remote
    • We have a sense of humor and while we take the work seriously, we take ourselves less so.

About the company and the role

At Lendurai, we enable unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) to operate independently of global navigation satellite systems and radio control, using computer vision and machine learning. We partner with multiple UAV manufacturers to deliver cost-effective capabilities to public sector and defence customers. Our team has deep experience in aerospace engineering, defence tech, and autonomous systems, with backgrounds at companies like Bolt (EE), Open Cosmos (UK), and Starship Technologies (EE).

As a Computer Vision Engineer you’ll work on building up the AI stack that lets our aircraft understand the world in GNSS-denied airspace, based purely on visual perception. You will work on implementing, maintaining, and improving computer vision components, ensuring they are reliable, efficient, and production-ready.

    What you will be doing

    • Designing, implementing & improving core CV modules: visual odometry, SLAM, obstacle detection, terrain recognition, scene recognition, etc.
    • Designing and training neural networks for real-time inference on embedded GPUs/NPUs, as well as specialized SOMs and NN accelerators
    • Collaborating across the full drone software stack β€” perception, control, planning, simulation

You also might learn to fly drones: although we have a team of skilled pilots, hands-on testing can be useful for making sure your code is properly integrated.

    We are looking for

    Required skills:

    • Strong C/C++ and Python programming skills
    • Theoretical and applied knowledge of computer vision algorithms
    • Strong grounding in deep learning architectures and applications
    • Track record of designing complex systems that operate outside the lab

Additional skills that are nice to have:

    • Experience with Pytorch, OpenCV
    • UAV or robotics background (work experience or education)
    • Experience with deploying neural networks on resource-constrained, real-time systems (mobile / embedded / robotics)

    What we offer

    • Monthly gross salary €3,500-7,000 based on experience and impact
    • Stock options
    • A mission-driven team that values ownership, curiosity, and a hands-on approach to solving defense challenges
    • Early technical influence in a growing defense tech startup
    • A focus on outcomes

Join us if you’re excited by real-world impact, rapid iteration, and contributing to technologies that help defend Europe.
