Your Role

We are looking for Middle and Senior Shopify App Developers to join a project focused on extending and improving existing Shopify applications.

The role is focused specifically on Shopify app development with a strong Ruby on Rails backend expertise. You will work on implementing new functionality, improving existing features, and contributing to scalable Shopify-based solutions.

Requirements

Must Have

• 3–5+ years of commercial development experience
• Strong experience with Shopify app development
• Solid knowledge of Ruby on Rails
• Experience with Node.js
• Strong TypeScript skills
• Experience integrating with Shopify APIs and ecosystem
• Understanding of scalable backend development principles

• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively within a distributed team

   

Nice to Have

• Experience with Shopify Admin API / GraphQL
• Experience building public or custom Shopify apps
• Familiarity with Shopify app architecture and app deployment processes

• Experience with performance optimization and third-party integrations

   

Responsibilities

• Develop new functionality for existing Shopify applications
