Jobs Kyiv, Fullstack

About the Role

We're looking for a curious and motivated Junior Backend Engineer to join our team. You'll be building backend services and REST APIs and working with AWS or Azure infrastructure.

Our projects use Python or C#, but since all of our code is written with AI, we are considering candidates with any OOP language, including JavaScript and Java. What matters is how you think about software: object-oriented design, APIs, and data.

We work in pairs — juniors are always paired with another junior or someone at a similar level, not just for code reviews, but for day-to-day coding, architecture decisions, and problem solving, with seniors close by whenever you need help. This is production work: you'll ship services that customers rely on, with the safety net of another teammate beside you.

The client is US-based, so the team works US business hours; for engineers in Ukraine, this means your working day ends around midnight Kyiv time. This role can be full-time or part-time, depending on your availability.

What You'll Work On

• Backend Services & APIs — build and maintain REST APIs and backend services for client platforms, with clear contracts and automated tests.
• AWS or Azure Infrastructure — work with cloud infrastructure on AWS or Azure, depending on the project.
• CI/CD using GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps pipelines.

Tech Stack

• Backend — Our projects use Python or C#, depending on the engagement. You do not need to know either one — all code is written with AI, and you'll learn the project's framework on the job.
• Cloud — AWS or Azure, depending on the engagement. Nice-to-have, not required.

Working Hours & Format

This role can be full-time or part-time, depending on your availability. It's fully remote. Our client operates on US business hours, so the schedule needs to align with US time zones — for engineers based in Ukraine, your working day will end around midnight Kyiv time.

Requirements

Solid fundamentals in OOP and comfort with at least one OOP language — it does not matter which.

Exposure to AWS or Azure is a plus, but not required — you'll pick up what you need on the job. We care more about your curiosity and attitude than your CV.

Why Duomo:

— You’ll work on a product with a clear mission and real values.

• Meaningful impact in Ukraine. The SKELAR Foundation was created by our own people, and every employee plays a part in bringing important social initiatives to life. We founded Europe's first accelerator for veterans and are working to build lasting support structures for veterans at a national scale.
• Spaces designed to inspire. Our offices are places people actually want to be — with an in-house gym, a climbing wall, Bali-inspired green spaces, and libraries. Every detail, from service and security to comfort and design, is built to match the pace of our growing teams.
• Everyday comfort built in. Meals, gym access in Kyiv or a partial fitness stipend in Warsaw, health insurance, paid business travel where the role requires it, and corporate partner discounts.

We'd love to tell you more in person.

Join us at SKELAR and help build the next big everything!

COPYMIND шукає Product Engineer'а

Київ | Full-time

• Product ownership —
Lead

• Прискорити розвиток продукту за рахунок швидкого втілення бізнес-ідей у фічі;
• Взяти ownership за технічну частину своєї зони продукту — від ідеї до продакшну;
• Знаходити й реалізовувати покращення функціоналу та користувацького досвіду;

React, Next.js, TypeScript, Node.js
• Claude Code

• Tailwind
• Redis, WebSocket
• GitLab, Vercel
• AI SDK, OpenRouter, RAG

• Овнершіп технічної частини своєї зони продукту та можливість досить швидко вирости до Lead;
• Можливість впливати на новий продукт: від ідеї до продакшну;
• Формат роботи: гібридний — офіс у Києві з можливістю працювати віддалено частину часу. Офіс повністю автономний і пристосований до роботи під час відключень, в будівлі офісу сертифіковане укриття;
• Самостійність у роботі: довіра до експертизи у прийнятті рішень, без мікроменеджменту;
• Медичне страхування після випробувального терміну;
• Харчування в офісі;
City.
