The role

We’re hiring a Junior PR Manager to grow Zutobi’s voice in the US media. You’ll work directly with our Head of Communications and own day-to-day media outreach across consumer, education, and tech press.

This is a hands-on role. You’ll pitch, write, and place stories, not just coordinate them.

What you’ll do

• Pitch story ideas to journalists at consumer outlets (parenting, lifestyle, automotive), education trade press, and tech media
• Build and maintain a US media list of reporters, editors, podcasters, and freelancers
• Write press releases, media pitches, founder quotes, and reactive comments on news cycles (DMV changes, road safety stories, teen driving stats)

• Experience with UAT coordination and working directly with business stakeholders during testing phases

• Engineering Tenure: At least 7 years in professional software development with a history of delivering complex, production-grade systems.
• Rust Expertise: 3 years of commercial Rust experience. You should possess a deep understanding of memory safety, lifetimes, traits, and high-performance concurrency.
