Your role will be to take over the technical leadership, understand the current architecture quickly, and continue the development roadmap.
Your Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of the project’s technical direction.
- Deep-dive into the existing architecture, custom codebase, and workflows.
- Maintain and extend complex WordPress functionality (PHP & JS are also used in some places).
- Implement upcoming features with a focus on performance and scalability.
- Lead the development of a custom vendor analytics system using Google Analytics + custom events.

About the Role:
We are seeking a Middle Full-Stack Engineer (Backend-oriented) to join a remote, product-focused team building a real-time AI-governance platform. In this role, you will contribute to backend development using Node.js—implementing services, APIs, and platform features—while supporting front-end tasks in React as needed.You will work closely with senior engineers, participate in design discussions, and take ownership of feature implementation end-to-end. This role is ideal for someone looking to deepen backend expertise while contributing across the full stack in a fast-moving, highly technical environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement, maintain, and test backend services and APIs (Node.js/TypeScript) for a real-time AI-governance platform
- Contribute to front-end functionality (React) when required for feature completion
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code aligned with best engineering practices
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving team standards
- Implement features end-to-end—from requirements through development, testing, and deployment
- Contribute to tooling, containerized environments, and CI/CD-related tasks
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and AI/security team members to deliver high-quality features
- Support debugging, optimization, and reliability improvements of existing systems
Required Competence and Skills:
- 3–6 years of professional experience in software development
- 2–4 years of hands-on experience with Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript
- Working knowledge of React and modern front-end patterns
- Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL or equivalent)
- Familiarity with cloud-native development practices and containerized environments
- Understanding of service-oriented architecture, APIs, and deployment workflows
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate in a distributed team
- Ability to self-organize, learn quickly, and adapt to a dynamic startup-like environment
- Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
Nice to have:
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or similar)
- Experience with Python and/or Go
- Production experience with TypeScript-based Node.js services
- Exposure to LLM/AI-driven applications (LLM APIs, vector DBs, orchestration tools)
- Experience integrating ML/AI models into production systems
- Background in B2B or security-oriented products
- BSc in Computer Science or related field

Skills & Experience- Master’s or PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, or a technology-focused field.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience designing and deploying AI or ML models.
- Hands-on experience setting up and maintaining large-scale data science and machine learning projects.
- Skilled with deep learning libraries like PyTorch, Keras, TensorFlow, and HuggingFace toolkits.
- Solid knowledge of machine learning, especially Natural Language Processing (NLP) large language models (LLMs).
- Advanced Python coding and strong experience (with tools like Scikit-Learn, NumPy, SciPy, Pandas, and XGBoost.)
- Comfortable using SQL for working with large datasets and uncovering insights.
- Experience creating solutions in cloud platforms such as AWS Sagemaker or Microsoft Azure.
- Able to work on your own or as part of a group to hit targets.
