We are looking for a responsible and curious QA Engineer who is eager to grow together with the team. If you enjoy breaking products, finding bugs where no one expects them, and want to develop both in manual testing and automation - we’re on the same path.

The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in manual testing, can look at a product from the end user’s perspective, and at the same time dive deep into technical details: APIs, databases, payments, design compliance, and more.

    We value people who:

    • are not afraid to ask questions and communicate in English with an international team
    • can clearly express their thoughts and write well-structured, understandable bug reports
    • are motivated to grow in test automation
    • are interested in new technologies, including AI

You’ll have the opportunity to work not only with classic testing but also to be involved in testing AI modules β€” an exciting and fast-growing area.

For the first 2-3 months, the focus will be on manual testing and deep product onboarding. After that, you’ll gradually move into writing automated tests using Playwright + TypeScript, with full team support.

    Responsibilities

    Manual Testing

    • Perform functional and regression testing of web applications
    • UI/UX testing: verifying interfaces against designs and design systems
    • API testing using Postman, Swagger, or similar tools
    • Database testing: writing SQL queries to validate data and ensure data integrity
    • Cross-browser and cross-platform testing
    • Smoke, sanity, and ad-hoc testing
    • Design compliance checks (pixel-perfect validation)
    • Exploratory testing to uncover non-obvious defects
    • Testing across different devices and screen resolutions

    Documentation & Processes

    • Create and maintain test cases and checklists
    • Write detailed bug reports with clear reproduction steps
    • Maintain test documentation (test plans, test strategies)
    • Participate in code reviews and design reviews
    • Analyze requirements and specifications, identifying gaps early
    • Assess test coverage and risks

    Communication & Team Collaboration

    • Active participation in daily stand-ups, planning sessions, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies
    • Communication in English with developers, designers, product managers, and clients
    • Escalation of critical bugs and blockers
    • Providing testing status updates and reports

    Automation (after 2–3 months)

    • Write and maintain automated tests using Playwright + TypeScript
    • Contribute to expanding automated test coverage
    • Maintain and stabilize existing automated tests
    • Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines
    • Analyze automated test run results

    AI Module Testing

    • Test AI component functionality
    • Validate the quality and correctness of AI-generated responses
    • Participate in creating test datasets and golden sets
    • Work with AI evaluation metrics (precision, recall, relevance, etc.)
    • Gradually improve automation approaches for AI testing

    Requirements

    Must Have

    • English level B2+ (critical) - daily communication with an English-speaking team
    • 2+ years of experience in QA
    • Understanding of testing methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
    • Strong knowledge of testing theory: types, levels, and test design techniques
    • Experience with API testing (Postman, Swagger, DevTools)
    • Basic SQL knowledge for database validation
    • Experience with bug tracking systems (Jira)
    • Experience with test management tools (TestRail, Qase, Zephyr, etc.)
    • Understanding of how web applications work (HTTP, REST, cookies, authentication)
    • Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
    • Teamwork and communication skills
    • Knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript
    • Experience with or strong interest in learning Playwright
    • Familiarity with Git

Adapty helps mobile apps grow subscription revenue with paywalls, pricing experiments, and analytics. We power 15K+ apps and process $2B+ in subscriptions every year. Now we’re scaling our Apple Ads (ASA) product β€” analytics + campaign management + automations β€” and we’re looking for an Apple Ads Manager who can own performance end-to-end and help us productize best practices into automation.

This is not an β€œagency role.” We do campaign management to deliver results for customers and to build the playbooks, experiments, and automation that will reduce manual work throughout 2026.

    The role

You’ll run Apple Search Ads accounts end-to-end (structure, bids, keywords, negatives, CPP/creative tests, reporting), and you’ll collaborate closely with product/engineering to turn what works in manual management into scalable workflows inside our platform.

    What you’ll do

    • Own ASA performance: manage accounts across apps/geos from setup to scaling, with a focus on unit economics (CPI/CPA/ROAS/LTV).
    • Build and maintain structure: brand/generic/competitor segmentation, match type strategy, Search Match hygiene, negatives strategy.
    • Run experiments: CPP / creative sets, keyword expansion & pruning, bid strategy iterations, geo and placement optimization.
    • Turn data into actions: weekly insights, clear next steps, and measurable outcomes.
    • Support onboarding: help customers start correctly (access, structure, best practices), when bandwidth allows.
    • Help us automate: document playbooks, define β€œwhat should be automated next,” validate results of rules/automation, and propose improvements that reduce manual ops time.

    What we’re looking for (must-have)

    • Proven hands-on Apple Search Ads experience (you’ve managed real budgets and can speak in specifics).
    • Experience with subscription apps: paywalls, trials, renewals β€” and how they affect targeting, funnel KPIs, and optimization decisions.
    • Strong grasp of ASA fundamentals: match types, Search Match, negatives, placements, CPP/creative testing, campaign organization.
    • Metrics-driven approach across the subscription funnel: CPT/TTR β†’ CVR β†’ CPI/CPA β†’ trial β†’ paid β†’ ROAS/LTV.
    • Clear async communication (crisp updates, actionable recommendations).
    • English proficiency (written and spoken).

    Nice to have

    • SQL / BI mindset (you like digging into data and building quick sanity checks).
    • Comfort working tightly with product/engineering (turning ops learnings into features).
    • β€œVibecoding” skills: ability to generate small scripts/tools (e.g., keyword ops, reporting helpers, bulk actions).

    In the first 30/60/90 days

    30 days

    • Get context on our product, reporting, and customer portfolio.
    • Audit existing accounts and ship first meaningful improvements.
    • Align on targets, cadence, and experimentation backlog.

    60 days

    • Own a stable portfolio end-to-end.
    • Launch structured testing (CPP/creative/keyword strategy).
    • Produce internal playbooks we can turn into automation.

    90 days

    • Show measurable improvements across the portfolio.
    • Contribute to at least 1 automation workflow definition (inputs, logic, guardrails) based on your learnings.

Apply: send your CV + a short note with 1–2 ASA cases you’re proud of (subscription app context, budget range, what you changed, impact).
