Jobs at Djinni

ABOUT FIRST CRYPTO EXCHANGE LLC

First Crypto is a VARA-licensed OTC broker-dealer in Dubai serving individuals and institutions. We are building our own platform for digital assets and fiat payments: OTC desk, web client and mobile app.

JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a Financial Platform Architect to lead the architecture of FCE’s own financial core, including accounting, settlement flows, reconciliation, and integrations with banks, custodians, and liquidity providers.

You will work closely with the CTO and a small, strong engineering team, with a high level of autonomy and direct influence on key architectural decisions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Own the architecture of the financial core, including account model, double-entry ledger, settlement flows, and reconciliation.
• Develop the core as the system of record and systematically reduce remaining vendor dependencies.
• Design guarantees for the correctness of money movements: idempotency, transaction boundaries, and compensation for long-running processes.
• Design the model for segregation of client and proprietary funds and demonstrate that liabilities are covered by assets.
• Architect integrations with banks, custodians, and liquidity providers, including unified vendor contracts, limits, and concentration controls.
• Maintain a registry of permitted asset — counterparty — rail — jurisdiction combinations and rules for introducing new ones.
• Design market conduct controls and regulatory reporting together with Compliance.
• Maintain architectural decisions and technical documentation suitable for external audits and regulators.
• Conduct architecture reviews for changes affecting the movement of funds.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

• Mandatory production experience in fintech, including payments, settlement, custody, banking, or brokerage backends. Candidates without this experience will not be considered.
• Practical experience designing and operating a double-entry ledger, including chart of accounts, journal, reservations, adjustments, and reconciliation.
• Strong understanding of settlement mechanics, including payment finality, intraday and daily limits, prefunding, netting, suspense accounts, and discrepancy resolution.
• Practical experience with idempotency, distributed sagas, and compensating transactions, beyond terminology.
• Experience with external audits and regulatory requirements.
• Experience working with systems where financial errors have direct financial and regulatory consequences.
• Ability to write architecture documents that are clear not only to engineers.
• Hands-on coding experience. Daily production development is not required, but validating own architectural decisions in code, building internal tools, and working with AI agents are part of the role. TypeScript/Node is the primary stack; comparable backend experience is acceptable with willingness to work in our stack.
• Experience with AI development tools and understanding of the limitations of AI-generated code.
• Russian — fluent: project discussions, reviews, and team communication are conducted in russian.
• English — C1: required for documentation, external auditors, and vendors.

WORKING CONDITIONS & BENEFITS

• Employment: Full-time, permanent contract
• Location: Dubai, UAE (relocation could be considered in 1-2 months of test period)
• Work format: Hybrid, with regular presence in the office. The company provides relocation support to employees.
• Reporting to: CTO
• Team: Small, strong engineering team
• Financial core: Own financial core in active development, with key architectural decisions being made now rather than inherited
• Responsibility: High level of autonomy and influence on architectural decisions
• Compensation: Competitive compensation based on experience
• Vacation: 20 working days per year
• Sick Leave: 10 days per year
• Days Off: 5 days per year
• Public Holidays: 8-10 days per year, depending on the holiday calendar of different countries

We are Boosta, a holding tech company that creates, develops, and invests in digital businesses with global potential. Today, we collaborate with over 800 specialists from different parts of the world, and millions of users use our products and services.

We are currently looking for a Head of Commercial (Merchant Sales & Portfolio Growth) to join Flintn, a business building and scaling an all-in-one payment platform for online businesses.

Flintn is a promising early-stage project, and at this point we already have:

• an MVP with core functionality;
• first customers;
• a clear product vision;
• a strong team;
• well-established processes.

Next comes a strong growth focus: product development, testing, and integrations aimed at building a global payment platform.

What you’ll be focusing on:

• To build and later lead our commercial function.
• New merchant acquisition across the European, North American and LatAm markets.
• Lead generation: outbound, partnerships, ISV and platform channels, events.
• The Account Management function — retention, expansion, processed-volume growth, and the authorisation-rate value we deliver to merchants.
• Commercial process: ICP, playbooks, pricing discipline, CRM hygiene.
• Forecasting of sales and growth in turnover.
• Hiring and coaching as the function grows.
• Platform growth commitments and targets fulfilments.

You are our ideal candidate if you:

• Fintech understanding, auth-rate and routing narrative, writing playbooks.
• Interchange and scheme economics, bank/acquirer relationships, pricing understanding.
• Built pipeline/function from nothing; can name the first touch, the first playbook, the first hire.
• Understands orchestration levers; auth-rate diagnosis; current VAMP thresholds; MID/acquirer landscape.
• Subscription metrics (MRR, involuntary churn, dunning), SaaS-merchant understanding.
• Retention, expansion, QBRs, portfolio metrics, TPV growth.
• Merchant sales or general B2B sales understanding.
• Owned a portfolio number, not just personal bookings; can explain how they moved it.
• Self-sourced and closed complex merchant deals; holds a price floor.
• Treats risk as commercial design; knows what they would decline.
• Hired, coached, and corrected a mis-hire.

Our hiring flow:

• Step 1: Pre-screen.
• Step 2: Interview with the CEO.
• Step 3: Test Task.
• Step 4: Bar-Raising.
• Step 5: Reference Check.
• Step 6: Job Offer!

What you can expect from working with us:

• A chance to work on an early-stage payment product. You’ll have the opportunity to make architectural decisions, work with AI and high-level engineering, enjoy technical freedom, and directly influence the product’s development vector. The startup drive — backed by the stability and support of a holding company.
• From idea to action — minimal steps. Any proposal can turn into real changes in the product or processes. If you have an idea, it will be heard.
• Your office is wherever it’s convenient for you: home, our Kyiv office, coworking spaces in Lviv or Warsaw, or anywhere else with a stable Wi-Fi connection.
• Flexible working hours. Plan your day for maximum efficiency: start between 8:00 and 11:00 and finish between 17:00 and 20:00, considering team collaboration hours.
• Continuous growth is a must. Courses, conferences, and an internal library — we invest in your development because the team’s speed and performance directly depend on the expertise of its people.
• Health care and wellbeing: medical insurance, a Mental Health program, and compensation for sessions with a psychologist.
Time to recharge: 28 paid days off per year, sick leave, and all public holidays fully covered.
• Gifts for special occasions. We celebrate important moments together — we give gifts to mark key milestones in your life and career.
• Social Impact. The Ukrainian Victory Support program and other charitable initiatives supporting Ukraine.
An active corporate life: quarterly team buildings, workshops, and other holding-level events.

Our business ambition is to become one of the top 10 payment providers for small and medium-sized businesses. Are you in?
