As a Licensing and Compliance Officer, you will leverage your expertise in international financial regulations to ensure the company’s operations adhere to all relevant legal standards. You will be responsible for handling complex legal inquiries from regulatory bodies and financial institutions, and drafting and reviewing a wide array of legal agreements.
 

Your regular tasks

• Drive and be in charge of financial licensing processes in the EU, UK and other regions
• Maintain and open a correspondent and operational bank account(s)
• Deal with complex legal requests and RFIs (banks, authorities)
• Stay abreast of all applicable financial regulations, including banking, EMIs, PIs, PASEP, anti-money laundering (AML), know your customer (KYC), and data protection laws and implement necessary changes
• Update compliance programs according to the requirements of the company regulators
• Be in charge of regulatory reporting, AML and other relevant audits
• Be in charge of company governance policies and regulatory responsibilities updates
• Be in charge of the licensing process during the expansion to the new regions
• Record keeping and structuring of the company’s relevant documentation and information
• Develop and implement corporate compliance and governance programs applicable to the group of companies
• Improve company policies according to applicable regulatory standards across KYB, AML, Anti-Fraud and compliance functions
• Draft agreements, such as NDA, MSA, Employment Agreement, Outsourcing agreement, Loan Agreement, Outstaffing Agreement, etc
• Serve as a primary liaison for correspondence with local law firms, auditors, and regulators
• Conduct audits before relationships with third-party vendors, service providers, financial providers, banks, payment systems and partners
• Report regularly to the CEO and head of operations on regulatory issues and/or proposals

• Lead the response to crises and emergencies, maintaining business continuity and minimising risks

   

Skills & expectations

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Legal Counsel/ Legal Advisor/Lawyer position in regulated companies, with a track record of acquiring and maintaining EU/UK EMI, bank, payment companies or PI licenses
• Understanding of international corporate law, general tax principles, due diligence for corporate entities, and EU licensing and compliance principles
• Proven experience in enhancing company compliance with regulatory obligations, ideally having worked in organisations that transitioned from startup to established enterprise levels
• Experience opening international bank accounts, correspondent bank accounts, and communication with regulators
• Experience drafting agreements, such as NDA, MSA, Employment Agreement, etc
• Experience dealing with audits, correspondent and corporate bank accounts, etc
• Fluent level of English proficiency
• Master’s degree in law

As a plus

• Knowledge of the regulatory framework in Malta or experience working with the MFSA
• Familiarity with the legal aspects of digital payments, anti-fraud measures, and transaction monitoring

• Координувати команду перекладачів (не сотні — але кожен цінний)
• Слідкувати, щоб кожен переклад приходив точно в дедлайн — і без втрати якості
• Організовувати процес так, щоб всі знали, що, коли і кому
   

Кого ми шукаємо:

• Ви маєте досвід у проєктному менеджменті (або ви — перекладач, який хоче зростати в управління)
• Ви — не тільки грамотно пишете, але й грамотно організовуєте
• Англійська від B1+, українська — без помилок
• Ви не губитесь, коли треба щось швидко зібрати, перекинути, вирішити й закрити

We’re looking for a Full-Stack Principal Engineer to lead the design and development of modern, scalable systems at the intersection of healthtech and cloud infrastructure. In this role, you’ll drive architecture decisions, mentor engineers, and deliver systems that directly impact healthcare providers and millions of patients.

Key Responsibilities

Engineering & Architecture

• Lead large-scale, high-impact projects across front-end and back-end systems
• Architect resilient microservices using Node.js, NestJS, TypeScript
• Design and optimize event-driven systems using Kafka and Temporal (or similar)
• Oversee infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) using Docker and Kubernetes

Full-Stack Development

• Apply TDD and modern engineering best practices for maintainable, testable code

Collaboration & Leadership

• Mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, and champion engineering excellence
• Partner with Product, QA, and cross-functional stakeholders to shape roadmaps
• Communicate complex technical decisions clearly to technical and non-technical audiences

You Might Be a Fit If You Have

• 6+ years of full-stack experience with strong system design skills
• Expert-level knowledge of Node.js, React, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, PostgreSQL
• Experience with Temporal or similar orchestration tools (e.g., Cadence, Airflow)
• Track record of owning and delivering end-to-end technical initiatives
• Familiarity with compliance and security standards (e.g., HIPAA)

What You’ll Do

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Retrospectives) for 3+ teams

• Remove blockers, mitigate risks, and maintain sprint focus
• Drive continuous improvement through metrics, retrospectives, and process refinements
• Communicate delivery progress, KPIs, and risks to leadership
• Foster a culture of collaboration, learning, and accountability
• Support onboarding and mentorship across Agile practices and team dynamics

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years in Delivery Manager or Scrum Master roles overseeing multiple Agile teams
• Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
• Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence (or similar tools)
• Familiarity with modern tech stacks: TypeScript, Python, Docker, cloud (GCP/AWS)
• Experience coordinating projects involving microservices, event-driven architecture, and data platforms (Kafka, FHIR, EHRs)
• Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
• Strong leadership mindset and the ability to drive team alignment and focus

Bonus Points For

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PMI-ACP, or similar certification
• Background in healthcare or dental technology
• Data-driven approach to process improvement (velocity, cycle time, burndown, etc.)
