    Job Brief

    We are looking for a proactive and hands-on HR Generalist to join Paybis in our Riga office. With 140+ employees, our HR team needs an experienced professional who can balance recruitment, employee engagement, office management, and HR compliance.

    The ideal candidate will be responsible for recruitment efforts, new hire orientation and onboarding, employee termination, benefits, company policy and procedure adherence. In addition, they will build strong relationships with our employees to support their human resource needs.

     

    Key Responsibilities

    • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including job postings, sourcing, interviewing.
    • Oversee new hire orientation, onboarding efforts, and employee termination process.
    • Conduct and facilitate employee relations initiatives, including one-on-one meetings, engagement surveys, and performance reviews.
    • Ensure compliance with Latvian labor laws and internal HR policies.
    • Maintain HR documentation, contracts and benefits administration.
    • Handle office management duties, including workspace organization, vendor coordination, and event planning.
    • Act as the first point of contact for HR-related inquiries and provide guidance to employees and managers.
    • Drive HR projects to enhance workplace culture, employee development, and employer branding.
    • Maintain HR systems, data tracking, and reporting.

     

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Human Resources, or related area.
    • 2-3 years of HR Generalist experience, preferably in fintech, startups, or tech environments.
    • Strong knowledge of recruitment processes, HR policies, and employee relations.
    • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks effectively.
    • Fluent in English and Russian; knowledge of Latvian is an advantage.
    • Understanding of Latvian labor laws.
    • Experience with HR software and office management is a plus.
