We are looking for a Senior-level freelance engineer with proven, hands-on experience in backend and systems development (Python and C++) for drones, UAVs, or robotic platforms. This role involves building critical software that directly powers autonomous aerial operations, from onboard systems to mission control infrastructure.

    What you’ll do

    • Design and develop backend services for mission control and monitoring of autonomous drones

    • Build reliable data pipelines to process and analyze telemetry in real time

    • Integrate with PX4 or ArduPilot flight stacks and extend/customize C++ components when needed

    • Contribute to software deployment on embedded platforms (e.g., Raspberry Pi, NVIDIA Jetson)

    • Collaborate remotely with robotics, hardware, and frontend teams to deliver end-to-end UAV solutions

    You have

    • Mandatory: production-level experience building software for drones/UAVs or robotic platforms

    • Strong Python expertise (Asyncio, FastAPI/Flask, or similar frameworks)

    • Solid C++ experience in robotics, real-time systems, or embedded development

    • Practical experience with PX4 or ArduPilot flight stacks

    • Hands-on experience with MAVLink protocol

    • Strong understanding of UAV/robotics development workflows

    • Experience working in Linux environments

    • Hands-on knowledge of Docker and containerized deployments

    • Git and version control best practices

    • Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines

    • Solid understanding of networking concepts (UDP/TCP, DHCP, traffic debugging tools)

    Nice to have

    • Experience with software deployment on embedded hardware platforms

    • Experience with telemetry visualization or monitoring dashboards

    • Familiarity with video streaming technologies (depending on the team assignment)

    • Exposure to cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
Prior work in Agile, cross-functional robotics teams

    What we offer

    • Freelance / hourly paid (long-term collaboration possible)

    • Competitive rate based on expertise and contributions

    • 100% remote & flexible working hours

    • Direct involvement in cutting-edge UAV and robotics projects

    • A motivated international team where your work has a real impact on live autonomous systems

Location: Stockholm, Sweden (office/remote). Permanent location in the EU or Ukraine is required (we can only consider candidates legally based in the EU or Ukraine).

Join SΓΆderberg & Partners Heartpace AB, a Swedish product company building innovative, reliable software for the European market. We’re looking for a Middle+ PHP Developer (Laravel) who enjoys moving fast, taking real ownership, and shipping production-ready solutions with high engineering standards.

This is not a β€œticket factory” role. We want someone who can deliver outcomes, collaborate tightly with product and engineering, and help us automate processes with AI to increase speed and quality.

    What we offer

    • Flexibility: work from our modern Stockholm office or fully remote.
    • Career growth: clear development paths, mentorship, and leadership opportunities.
    • Modern tech stack: Laravel, AWS (S3, ECS, RDS), Docker, event-driven architecture, and more.
    • Professional development: we cover certifications, conferences, and access to Udemy courses to support your growth.
    • AI-first enablement: we actively automate workflows with AI β€” and we’ll compensate relevant AI subscriptions you need for your work.
    • Relocation support: visa sponsorship and relocation assistance for international candidates.
    • Work-life balance: no overtime culture and generous vacation policies.
    • Security matters: we are ISO 27001:2022 certified, meaning we take information security and operational discipline seriously.

    What you’ll do

    • Build, optimize, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Laravel.
    • Deliver in short cycles: ship β†’ measure β†’ iterate, with a focus on business impact and reliability.
    • Work with SQL and NoSQL data stores (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB): schema design, indexing, query optimization, and performance tuning.
    • Contribute to event-driven architecture using AWS services like SQS/SNS (and related patterns).
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Design, QA, DevOps) to design and deliver customer-facing solutions.
    • Maintain high engineering standards through:
      • clean architecture and design patterns
      • code reviews and PSR compliance
      • automated testing (TDD/BDD where it fits)
      • observability and production readiness
    • Use AI tools to accelerate development workflows (e.g., faster implementation, test generation, documentation, debugging) while keeping quality and security intact.

    We value

    • High performance / results-first: measurable impact over activity.
    • Entrepreneurial ownership: be the engine, not the passenger.
    • Data-driven decisions + systems thinking: build solutions that scale and stay maintainable.
    • Fast execution with integrity: speed and reliability.
    • Continuous improvement: skills, mindset, and outcomes.

    You’ll thrive here if you…

    • Prefer short cycles: ship β†’ measure β†’ iterate.
    • Can turn ambiguity into execution (and ask the right questions when needed).
    • Care about outcomes over process theater.
    • Enjoy improving systems, not just delivering features.

    What we’re looking for

    • 5+ years of software development experience with strong skills in PHP and Laravel.
    • Solid fundamentals: OOP, SOLID, DRY, common design patterns, and version control with Git.
    • Experience with AWS and cloud-native patterns (e.g., S3, ECS, RDS; bonus for CloudFront/Route53/EC2).
    • Strong database skills across SQL + NoSQL, including query optimization and performance mindset.
    • Comfortable in Docker-based environments and modern CI/CD workflows.
    • Strong problem-solving skills, ownership mindset, and attention to detail.
    • English: Upper-Intermediate+ for collaboration and documentation.
    • Language bonus:
      • Swedish is a strong plus (conversational/professional level or native).
      • Ukrainian/Russian is a plus for smoother communication with part of the team from Odessa, Ukraine.
    • AI usage experience: practical experience using AI tools to accelerate development workflows (we’ll support and compensate relevant subscriptions).

    Interview process (3 steps)

    1. Screening interview with the Recruiter.
    2. Technical interview with the Tech Lead + live task.
    3. Final approval interview with the CTO.

    Why join us?

At SΓΆderberg & Partners Heartpace AB, you’ll build software that matters β€” with autonomy, strong engineering standards, and a team that values ownership and speed with integrity. If you want to ship real value, improve how we build, and grow in a product company serving Europe, you’ll feel at home here.

    Ready to join?

    • Senior Platform & Infrastructure Engineer
    • This role is a software-first approach to systems. You aren't just managing servers; you are building the platform that runs the company. It requires a blend of high-level architectural thinking and deep-tier systems automation.

    • The Core Identity
    • Software-First Infra: You treat infrastructure like a product, using software engineering principles (code reviews, testing, CI/CD) to manage the cloud.
    • Developer Enablement: You build self-service tooling so product engineers can deploy and scale their own services safely.
    • Architectural Guard: You own the long-term reliability and performance strategy, ensuring the system scales as the business grows.

    • The Technical Stack
    • Category
    • Core Technologies
    • Cloud Platform
    • AWS or GCP (Identity, IAM, VPCs, Managed Services)
    • Orchestration
    • Kubernetes (Deep internals: CRDs, Operators, Networking, ingress)
    • Languages
    • Go or Python (for automation); TypeScript/Node (for tooling/CDK)
    • IaC
    • Terraform (Primary) or Pulumi
    • Data & Storage
    • PostgreSQL (Performance tuning, replication, schema evolution)
    • Observability
    • Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog (Tracing, SLIs, Alerting)
    • CI/CD
    • GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, or CircleCI

    • What This Is vs. Is Not
    • βœ… IS: Designing a Kubernetes operator to automate database migrations.
    • ❌ NOT: Manually clicking in the AWS Console to resize a disk.

    • βœ… IS: Improving developer velocity by building a "one-command" staging environment.
    • ❌ NOT: Being the "gatekeeper" who must approve every deployment ticket.

    • The Ideal Candidate Profile
    • 5+ Years in Software or Systems Engineering with a focus on cloud-native platforms.
    • Operator Mindset: You've run high-traffic systems and know how they break at 3 AM (and how to design them so they don't).
    • Tool Builder: You prefer writing a Go service to automate a task rather than writing a documentation page on how to do it manually.
    • Would you like me to help you map your specific experience with these tools (K8s, Terraform, Postgres) into a cohesive interview narrative?

Location: Stockholm, Sweden (remote). Permanent location in the EU or Ukraine is required (we can only consider candidates legally based in the EU or Ukraine).

Join SΓΆderberg & Partners Heartpace AB, a Swedish product company building reliable, high-quality software for the European market. We’re looking for a QA Engineer (Manual + Automation) who enjoys moving fast, taking real ownership, and raising the quality bar through smart testing and scalable automation.

We’re not looking for someone to β€œrun checklists.” We’re looking for someone who can build confidence in releases, ship quickly with integrity, and help us automate QA and workflows using AI.

    What we offer

    • Flexibility: work fully remote.
    • Career growth: clear development paths, mentorship, and leadership opportunities.
    • Modern tools & processes: Playwright, Postman, TestRail, Jira, Confluence (and room to improve them).
    • Professional development: we cover certifications, conferences, and access to Udemy.

    • Own the QA process for web-based applications: from requirements to release confidence.
    • Design and maintain test plans, checklists, and test cases in TestRail.
    • Perform manual testing (exploratory, regression, acceptance) with strong attention to risk and impact.
    • Build, extend, and maintain automation from scratch (Playwright preferred), including:
      • stable test architecture
      • meaningful reporting
      • CI-friendly execution
      • reliable, maintainable suites
    • Conduct API testing using Postman (and support API test automation where applicable).
    • Identify, log, and track defects in Jira, with high-quality reproduction steps and clear severity/priority.
    • Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and designers to clarify requirements and ensure test coverage.
    • Improve QA processes across the SDLC: faster feedback loops, fewer flaky tests, better release confidence.
    • Use AI tools to accelerate test design, reduce repetitive work, and improve efficiency (while keeping quality and security intact).

    We value

    • High performance / results-first: measurable impact over activity.
    • Entrepreneurial ownership: be the engine, not the passenger.
    • Data-driven decisions + systems thinking: rigor, scalability, and continuous learning.
    • Fast execution with integrity: speed and reliability.
    • Continuous improvement: skills, mindset, and outcomes.

    You’ll thrive here if you…

    • Prefer short cycles: ship β†’ measure β†’ iterate.
    • Can turn ambiguity into execution (and help others do the same).
    • Care about outcomes over process theater.
    • Enjoy improving systems, not just following them.

    What we’re looking for

    • 5+ years of experience in manual and automation QA for web applications.
    • Strong hands-on automation experience, ideally Playwright (or similar modern framework).
    • Experience setting up automation approaches/frameworks and building maintainable suites.
    • Solid knowledge of Postman, TestRail, Jira, and Confluence.
    • Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum, and quality practices in modern product teams.
    • Understanding of client-server architecture.
    • Good web fundamentals: HTML, CSS, HTTP, Ajax, JSON.
    • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and clear communication.
    • English: Upper-Intermediate+ for collaboration and documentation.
    • Language bonus:
      • Swedish is a strong plus (conversational/professional level or native).
      • Ukrainian/Russian is a plus for smoother communication with part of the team from Odessa, Ukraine.
    • AI usage experience: practical experience using AI tools to automate or accelerate QA/workflows (we’ll support and compensate relevant subscriptions).

    Interview process (3 steps)

    1. Screening interview with the Recruiter.
    2. Technical interview with the Tech Lead + live task.
    3. Final approval interview with the CTO.

    Why join us?

At SΓΆderberg & Partners Heartpace AB, quality is not a gate at the end - it’s a system we build. You’ll have real ownership, autonomy, and support, plus the opportunity to improve how we ship through automation, AI, and strong engineering collaboration.

    Ready to join?

Apply now and let’s build fast, reliable products together.
