Possess overall responsibility for the successful planning, execution, monitoring, control, and completion of projects according to the agreed scope, time, cost, and quality criteria.

A solid understanding of the web design process is crucial for this role.

Responsibilities:

Project Management:

- Manage project development from initiation to closure, within budget, timeline, and quality standards. This involves leading the product development team on the projects that typically last 2-3 years.
- Manage day-to-day operational aspects of projects, ensuring smooth progress and addressing challenges.
- Plan and manage project timelines and milestones, ensuring that tasks are completed on time and objectives are met.
- Identify and mitigate project risks to ensure steady progress.

Team management:

- Manage a web development team of backend and frontend developers, a designer, and a QA engineer. Effectively plan and manage the allocation of team members’ time on projects.

Stakeholders management:

- Manage stakeholder communication throughout the lifecycle of website development projects.

Quality management:

- Ensure that the project’s deliverables meet the defined quality standards and stakeholders’ expectations.

Required skills:

- Experience/strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Kanban.
Solid understanding of the SDLC.
- Strong knowledge of UX design and ability to guide design teams.
- Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.
- Strong presentational skills: proficiency in direct stakehoder communication and delivering project updates throughout different stages.
- Strong in people management, problem-solving, and decision-making.
- Initiative-driven with a proactive approach to improving project outcomes.

- Excellent self-organization, time management, and prioritization skills.

Availability to work GMT+2 hours (10 am to 7 pm).

Required skills:

- Experience as manual QA or QA course certificate;
- Knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes;
- English level — intermediate+;
- Understanding of the development processes and software lifecycle;
- Knowledge of theory and principles of testing;
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS and browser developer tool;
- Basic knowledge of WordPress (Install theme as a demo, creation of custom posts, etc.).

As a plus:

- Conduct thorough testing of websites for client projects

- Test Apps, Themes, Widgets on the different CMS;
- Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases;
- Knowledge of project management methodologies;
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities:

- Test Shopify Apps, Themes and Apps on the different CMS;
- Follow our internal QA Documentation and QA checklist;
- Test frontend user interface and backend functionality;
- Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities;
- Participate in planning meetings and prepare manual tests for each cycle;
- Investigate project quality to make improvements to achieve better customer satisfaction;
- Identify and report bugs and errors to development teams, track bugs, monitor debugging process results;
- Collaborate with the project development team to ensure consistent project execution and correct bugs and errors, analyze test results;
- Work within an Agile framework to collaborate with other team members in the development of product features.

💪 YOUR QUEST-LINE: 

• Analyze current QA processes, tools, practices, and team capabilities and suggest further improvements
• Leading and mentoring QA team: developing skills, building effective processes, using the right tools, and creating a collaborative environment.
• Manage and track product quality, and suggest improvement solutions.
• Development and support of test automation processes, creation of new and support of current autotests;
• Analyzing and monitoring test results and developing recommendations for quality improvement.
• Working closely with Product Manager, Team Leads, DevOps, developers and support;
• Regular communication with the support team to sort out user feedback;

• Maintaining and updating test documentation and tools.

   

👨‍🚀 YOUR IN-GAME SKIN: 

• 5+ years of experience in QA, including 2+ years in a leadership role as a QA Lead or similar role in web application environments;
• Experience with end-to-end test reporting tools, failure RCA(Root Cause Analysis);
• Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (Python-based), including Python, Pytest, Playwright/Selenium;
• Ability to analyze test reports and identify areas for improvement;
• Understanding of CI/CD processes;
• Ability to analyze requirements, specifications and technical documentation;
• Prioritization of bringing Product value over Engineering perfection;
• Proactive, self-driven, excellent communication skills;
