About the Company: 
A growing iGaming company in Malta is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Finance Officer to join their team. This role offers a strong entry point into finance, providing hands-on exposure and development opportunities within a fast-paced, international environment. The Junior Finance Officer will support the finance function in the day-to-day financial operations of the company, working closely with the Head of Finance and the wider team to ensure accurate reporting and strong financial processes.

In total, there are 100+ people working on it from the GL side. We are responsible for the full cycle of product development, from the identification of new requirements to the release and support of the platform. 
 

Approach

SCRUM-based approach in a high-level SAFe environment. A fully independent team that includes all required roles: PM, PO, MQA, AQA, performance testing, developers, release management, support, and DevOps engineers.

2-week sprints with classic SCRUM ceremonies; releases every 2 sprints after, and an established regression cycle.

As a Middle JavaScript Engineer at Upstaff, you’ll design, implement, and deploy high-quality solutions that solve genuine problems for real users. You’ll skip the heavy bureaucracy, work directly with clients and the product team, ship code to production within days, and collaborate with a team that values accountability and a thoughtful approach.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy full-fledged AI applications based on our core enterprise platform.
• Collaborate closely with clients and internal teams to customize and adapt AI solutions.
• Expand the platform's capabilities and enhance the UI/UX layers to meet modern standards.
• Integrate third-party APIs and internal tools to ensure seamless and secure data flow.

Requirements

• 3+ years of commercial experience in Full Stack development using JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Strong proficiency in building user interfaces with modern frameworks (React, Vue, etc.) and backend logic (Node.js).
• Solid understanding of web application architecture and complex integrations.
• English level of B2 or higher for direct, effective communication with global clients.

Will be a plus

• Prior experience working with LLMs or integrating AI services (OpenAI API, Claude, etc.).
• Experience in Enterprise or B2B software environments.
• Familiarity with Python or cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
