Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Embedded Engineer to take ownership of critical software components within our robotic security devices. This is a great opportunity to participate in the development of a brand-new software solution for our existing robotic hardware platform. 

Responsibilities and Duties

— Design and architect high-quality embedded software in C and C++ (C++17) for next-generation camera-based security devices.

— Develop and optimize build systems (Buildroot, Yocto, CMake) for product firmware components.

— Work across the entire stack, from Linux/Android BSP and HAL to ARM-based MCUs running Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS).

— Debug and resolve complex software, hardware, and network connectivity challenges across the entire device lifecycle.

Qualifications and Skills

— 5+ years of commercial experience in embedded development, with mastery of C and C++ (C++17) and deep expertise in RTOS and microcontroller architectures (ARM, RISC-V).

— Hands-on experience with Embedded Linux BSP, Buildroot, or other Linux build systems.

— Strong Linux background, with proficiency in developing within a Linux-based environment.

— Ability to read and interpret complex schematics and data sheets.

We are looking for a focused Video Editor (YouTube) to handle editing of our YouTube content. The videos are targeted at the US market — business owners in the HVAC industry.

Responsibilities:

Interview & Dialogue Editing

• Edit RU/EN interviews: clean up dialogue, set the right pace, cut the unnecessary
• Sync talking-head footage with screen recordings for tutorial content
• Maintain smooth flow and viewer attention throughout

Content Types

• Edit educational videos with screen captures and visual accents
• Edit corporate content — workshops, client testimonials, conference recordings
• Cut highlight clips from long-form recordings

Post-Production

• Add basic lower thirds and on-screen graphics
• Ensure consistent audio levels — no volume jumps or drops

• Export final files and organize project folders

   

Skills:

• Proven experience editing YouTube content — portfolio required
• Strong sense of pacing and viewer retention

About the project

Working through Emilus as part of a partnership with a global consulting company. The end client is a UK-based telecom. You'll join a distributed engineering team building scalable backend services on AWS serverless infrastructure.
 

Requirements

• 2+ years of backend development with Node.js / TypeScript
• Experience with AWS: Lambda, API Gateway, SNS/SQS, CDK (Infrastructure as Code)
• Comfortable writing unit, integration, and TDD-style tests
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (AWS CodeBuild or similar)
• Ability to do meaningful code reviews, not just rubber-stamping
• Operational mindset: monitoring, scaling, resilience, security — not just "it works on my machine"
• Can translate product requirements into implementable tasks independently

About the role

We're hiring in partnership with a global consulting company for a project with a major UK-based media & telecom company.

You'll join a newly formed SFV Tooling team — building internal tooling that helps editorial staff create and manage short-form video content across the organisation. Greenfield product, cross-functional Agile team, real impact on how media content is produced at scale.

React frontend + Node.js/TypeScript backend. AWS infrastructure. High standards for code quality, testing and operational excellence.
 

What you'll do

• Lead design and development of complex product features end-to-end
• Review code, give constructive feedback, raise the bar for the whole team
• Write tests with TDD approaches — quality and coverage are non-negotiable
• Own technical documentation and take responsibility for it
• Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents, including out-of-hours when needed
• Work closely with product, project and technical leads to shape implementable specs
• Participate in and lead Agile ceremonies as needed
• Collaborate with third-party providers where required
   

Must have

• Strong production experience with React, TypeScript, Node.js
• Solid understanding of web architecture and key technologies
• TDD and broader QA/testing expertise
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, ideally AWS CodeBuild
