POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The organization assists large-scale businesses in bridging cryptography oversight and future-proof security planning with tangible risk scenarios and compliance requirements. MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 
3+ years of experience as Quality Assurance Automation Engineer 

EDUCATION:
BS or MS in Math, Computer Science, Engineering 

REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong knowledge of SDLC and QA methodologies
• Background in both manual and automated testing of desktop, web, and mobile applications
• Hands-on practice developing and maintaining automated tests in Python or Go
• Proficiency in pytest, Go testify, or comparable testing frameworks
• Practical knowledge of creating and maintaining test automation documentation
• Proficient in Visual Studio Code (VS Code) and at least one additional IDE for test automation
• Working knowledge of databases
• Practical experience operating in Kubernetes environments
• Exposure to major cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Experience testing GraphQL APIs
• Applied experience using AI tools (MCP, agents) to develop automation code
• Strong experience with bug tracking systems (Jira, Redmine)
• Upper-intermediate level of English

DUTIES:

• Carry out routine manual and automation QA tasks according to company QA procedures 
• Plan and estimate QA efforts on typical projects
• Identifying and creating reusable test data, methods, and frameworks 
• Provide accurate and complete testing on clients’ projects
• Research, learn, and practice new testing methodologies, techniques, and skills 
• Break down major tasks into smaller subtasks 
• Work with cross-team product owners, developers and other test engineers to support the current 

QA processes 

• Organize and participate in team and client meetings. 
• Report on statuses, progress, and concerns of clients.

About the Project:
Prep Network connects high school athletes with college coaches in the US. The platform operates multiple digital products and content-driven systems supporting different sports (basketball, volleyball, football, and more). The backend is built on Laravel and integrates with multiple services and front-end applications.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain backend functionality using Laravel.
- Design and support RESTful APIs for web and front-end applications.
- Work with relational databases, optimize queries, and ensure data integrity.
- Integrate backend services with external systems and internal tools.
- Collaborate with front-end developers (React or Vue) when needed.
- Fix bugs, improve performance, and ensure system stability.
- Participate in code reviews and follow best backend practices.
- Communicate with English-speaking team members and clients.

Requirements:
- Strong experience with Laravel and PHP.
- Solid understanding of backend architecture and API design.
- Experience with REST APIs, authentication, and integrations.
- Confident work with SQL databases.
- Front-end experience with React or Vue is a plus (not mandatory).
- English level B2+ for communication.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team.

Nice to Have:
- Experience with Docker or CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with cloud environments.
- Experience working on content-heavy or high-load platforms.
