    We are looking for an experienced Legal Team Lead to join our European crypto project — a fast-growing ecosystem providing blockchain-based financial services, exchange, and payment solutions. The role involves leading the legal department, ensuring compliance with European regulations, and supporting strategic business development in the cryptocurrency industry.

     

    Key Responsibilities:

    — Lead and manage the legal team across EU operations.

    — Ensure full compliance with MiCA, AML/CTF, GDPR, and other relevant EU financial regulations.

    — Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, partnership agreements, and investor documentation.

    — Advise management on corporate structure, licensing, and risk mitigation strategies.

    — Supervise legal due diligence for token listings, exchange operations, and payment integrations.

    — Coordinate communication with external legal advisors, auditors, and regulators.

    — Monitor regulatory developments and implement internal policies accordingly.

    — Report directly to top management and participate in strategic decision-making.

     

    Requirements:

    • European location is a must!

    — Master’s degree in Law (LL.M or equivalent).

    — 5+ years of experience in fintech, blockchain, or financial law.

    — Strong knowledge of EU crypto regulations (MiCA, AMLD5/6, GDPR).

    — Proven leadership experience in managing a legal or compliance team.

    Excellent command of English (additional European languages are a plus).

    • Russian or Ukrainian is a must!

    — Strong attention to detail and the ability to make balanced legal and business decisions.
