Jobs at Djinni

Responsibilities:

1. Ownership

Be the analytics counterpart for a product domain 1:1 chat, content packs, negotiations, live streaming — you become the person PMs and engineers come to for any number in that area, and the person accountable when it's wrong.

2. Experiments

Run A/B tests on product features, end to end Turn a product hypothesis into a test: primary and secondary metrics, the minimum effect worth detecting, and the audience. Confirm the population split and assignment events are genuinely correct before trusting the readout. Monitor it while it runs, then deliver a clear ship / don't-ship call and the reasoning behind it. This is a large part of the job, not an occasional project.

3. Pipelines

Build and maintain the datasets behind your domain Write production transformations as SQL and YAML pipeline config, with freshness, uniqueness and validity checks. Your work goes through code review like any engineer's.

4. Events

Specify instrumentation before it's built Write the BI event spec for new features across Android, iOS and Web; then verify after release that events actually fire the way the spec said, and chase the gaps when they don't.

5. Dashboards

Own dashboards and the models under them

Including retiring the ones nobody opens. A dashboard with no reader is a cost, not an asset.

6. Analysis

Investigate what moved and why Revenue and conversion anomalies, feature performance, behavioural questions from PMs. Present findings to people who will act on them.

7. Incidents Size production incidents under time pressure When something breaks, you're asked how many users were affected and for how long — quickly, and precisely enough to defend the number when engineering disagrees with it.
8. Cost Keep query and pipeline cost honest Partitioning, clustering, and knowing why a query scans what it scans. Warehouse capacity is shared and finite; an expensive pipeline is everyone's problem.

Requirements:

• Advanced SQL, including window functions and multi-source joins — and the ability to reason about what a query costs, not only whether it returns.
• A strong experimentation background. Hypothesis testing, confidence intervals, power and minimum detectable effect — and the failure modes: peeking at a running test, multiple comparisons, hunting for a segment where the result works. You should also be the kind of person who checks that the experiment itself is sound before trusting its numbers.
• 3+ years as a product or data analyst on consumer products, with real exposure to both mobile and web.
• Critical use of AI analytics tooling. We use an internal Claude-based layer over BigQuery heavily. We want someone who checks what it produces before passing it on.
• Comfort shipping code: git, merge requests, reading and reviewing someone else's SQL. You'll write production pipeline code, not only notebooks and queries.
• Working knowledge of product event tracking: what a well-specified event looks like, and why the same event behaves differently across platforms.
• English at B1 or above. You'll write specifications that engineers build from and present findings to product stakeholders, so clear written English matters more than fluent speech.

Strong advantage

• BigQuery specifically — partitioned tables, clustering, slot-based pricing.
• Airflow, dbt, or another orchestrated transformation framework.
• Having been the analyst on a production incident, not only in the post-mortem.

Nice to have

• Python with the usual statistical libraries — pandas, scipy, stats models.
• A BI tool such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BI — having built the models and dashboards, not only read them. We use Looker today but are moving off it, so the particular tool matters much less than having done the work in one.
• Data quality tooling such as Soda or Great Expectations.
• Experience in social, live-streaming, gaming or another engagement-driven consumer product.

Tech Lead / Python AI Engineer / Engineering Lead / AI Architect.

Ideally, we would like to find someone based in Western Ukraine.

Across our practices, AI experimentation is organic: agents and accelerators get prototyped, they work, and they find their way to the teams who need them.

Working is not the same as dependable, tested, hardened, properly deployed, and fit for a regulated client. Closing that distance and turning experimentation into an engineering discipline is the job.

You will build and lead our AI engineering team: you, a Senior Engineer and a DevOps Engineer, and own the path from idea to production across every asset class.

You will work with SMEs within the practices to bring prioritised pilots into products that deliver return. You will be the final technical decision-maker on what ships. Roughly two-thirds of your week will be hands-on: architecture, coding and code review. The rest will focus on direction, hiring and the operating model.

Key Requirements

We are looking for someone who:

• Has strong experience building and owning products, rather than only completing technical tasks within outsourcing projects.
• Has 8+ years of engineering experience.
• Has strong Python experience, including production systems where Python was the primary language.
• Has strong Azure expertise and experience with production Azure workloads.
• Has hands-on experience with AI/LLM and agentic systems.
• Has experience taking products or platforms from architecture through production and ongoing operation.
• Has a player-coach background — able to lead engineers while remaining hands-on technically.
• Has strong English and communication skills.

Has experience working with regulated environments and implementing security/governance requirements in practice.

You will not be post-technical in this role.

• Responsibilities
• Own the AI delivery operating model and the path from prototype to production — from intake and qualification through build, hardening and rollout across accelerators and client-facing IP.
• Build and lead the AI engineering team: hire two engineers, set standards, review code, unblock the team and support their growth.
• Work with SMEs across practices to design, build, deploy and maintain applications.
• Personally build, ship and harden agentic solutions and own the assets you oversee.
• Own architecture and production standards across solutions, including solution architecture, infrastructure, model selection and validation.
• Turn governance into engineering through policy-as-code, guardrails, evaluations and release gates running in the pipeline.
• Implement controls suitable for regulated clients without unnecessarily slowing down development.
• Embed AI capabilities across practices by working with automation, application engineering and consulting SMEs to create a path from prototypes to production.
•
• What Would Set You Apart?
• Claude Certified Architect (Foundations or Professional).
• Microsoft Agentic AI Business Solutions Architect (AB-100).
• LLM or agentic systems already taken to production.
• Experience deploying accelerators or productised IP across multiple clients.
•

Location: Ukraine - preferably the western part of the country.

Budget: Up to €72,000 gross/year

Everyone’s welcome

Diversity makes us better. We create a space where you can thrive as you are.

Ready to build something meaningful?

Let’s talk. Your next big adventure might just start here.

About the role

We're changing how products get built. Our designers now create interfaces directly in code with Claude Design and Claude Code, so design and frontend arrive together. We need a senior engineer who takes it from there: sets the project up properly, builds the backend, secures it, and ships it to production.

This is a full-stack role with no bias toward frontend or backend. You'll work on fixed-price MVPs delivered turnkey and deploy-ready, on growth retainers after launch, and on modernizing existing client products to the new AI-native approach.

Our projects span FinTech, Web3, marketplaces, SaaS platforms, and data-heavy admin systems. Experience in these domains is a plus, not a core requirement.

You'll be the technical owner across our projects: choosing the stack, setting standards, reviewing code, and helping designers solve technical problems. The role has a clear growth path toward Team Lead.

What you'll do

• Set up projects correctly from day one: repository structure, design system and typography integration, environments, CI/CD
• Take designer-built interfaces to production: refine the code, connect data, make it stable and maintainable
• Build MVP backends on Supabase: database schema, authentication, roles and permissions, row-level security, storage, edge functions
• Own security: make sure users never see each other's data, review access rules, catch unsafe patterns in AI-generated code
• Integrate payments and third-party services; deploy and maintain production environments
• Choose and justify the stack for each project and explain the choice to the client
• Work with existing client codebases during redesign and modernization projects
• Set up AI-driven testing: autotest logic, coverage of key flows, a QA process designers and external QA can follow
• Review code, define engineering standards, and support designers working in code
• Estimate projects accurately and take part in scoping and presales
• Coordinate with partner backend teams on heavy, complex products

What we're looking for

• 4+ years of commercial development across both frontend and backend
• Strong React and TypeScript (Next.js is a plus, not required)
• Solid backend experience: Node.js or another server language, relational databases (PostgreSQL), API design
• Hands-on Supabase or Firebase experience: auth, row-level security, access control
• Experience deploying and running products in production (Vercel, cloud providers, CI/CD)
• Payment integrations or work with financial data
• A portfolio of small to medium products you built end to end, with the ability to explain why each technology was chosen
• Experience with more than one stack, so you can pick the right tool rather than default to one
• Security mindset: authorization, data isolation, secrets management
• Testing culture: unit and E2E (Jest, Playwright / Cypress), including tests written by AI
• Experience working with existing codebases, refactoring, and migrations

AI-native development is the core of the role

• We build with AI every day, so we need real hands-on experience, not familiarity.
• Daily work with Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, or similar agentic tools
• Preparing context for agents: CLAUDE.md / cursor rules, MCP integrations, task decomposition
• Critical review of AI-generated code: hallucinations, unsafe patterns, unnecessary abstractions
• Understanding where AI saves time and where it creates technical debt
• Ability to build an AI-driven workflow for the team, including designers who code
• Ability to explain to a client how AI-native development affects timelines and cost

In the interview we'll ask you to walk us through a real case: a product you built with an agent, how you set up the process, and what went wrong.

Communication

• English B2+, confident in a one-hour client call without an interpreter
• Comfortable talking to CTOs, founders, and C-level: structured, focused on business impact
• Able to explain technical risks, trade-offs, and stack choices in business terms
• Able to say "no" to a poor idea or unrealistic scope respectfully and on time

• Clear written updates and documentation

Growth to Team Lead

As you grow into the Lead role, you'll join client calls with CTOs, founders, and C-level stakeholders. We need someone who can explain a technical decision through its business impact, give a reasoned "no" to a poor idea, and keep the relationship intact. If you're a strong engineer but client communication feels like a burden, this role isn't for you, and that's fine.

Your responsibilities will gradually include:

• Direct client communication and calls with CTOs and founders
• Presenting and defending architecture, stack choices, scope, and estimates
• Translating business requirements into technical solutions and explaining risks in business language
• Mentoring and onboarding developers and designers who work in code
• Establishing engineering standards and code review guidelines
• Technical coordination between our team, partner teams, and the client's engineers
• Technical interviews and candidate evaluation

• Project estimation and presale support

Nice to have

• Product thinking: you care about what the MVP is for, not only how it's built
• Experience with Lovable, v0, Figma Make, or similar AI builders, and knowing their limits
• Python, Go, or PHP backend experience
• Analytics and A/B testing setup for live products

Softengi is a custom software development company. We’re building a reliable inbound lead channel and helping more US buyers discover our services. We’re looking for an SEO specialist who can understand our buyers and sales process, then focus our efforts on opportunities likely to bring qualified leads.

You’ll work with our marketing team and an AI-assisted SEO workflow. AI agents already help with research, audits, keyword clustering, and reporting. Your role is to set direction, check the quality of their work, and make the decisions that require experience and business judgment.

Working arrangement:

This is a freelance, remote, part-time role of 15–20 hours per week. You should be based in Ukraine or an EU time zone and available for calls around 15:00–18:00 Kyiv time to overlap with our US team.

What we’re looking for:

• 4+ years of SEO experience, including a strong track record in B2B or IT services.
• Real, verifiable results promoting software development or IT outsourcing companies to the US market.
• Strong technical SEO skills and a solid understanding of search intent and SERP analysis.
• Strategic and commercial judgment: you can adapt SEO practices to a specific business rather than follow a generic checklist.
• Experience measuring SEO’s contribution to leads and pipeline.
• Hands-on experience with Semrush, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, GA4, and Google Tag Manager.
• Practical experience using AI tools or agents in SEO, including knowing when their output needs to be challenged or verified.
• Experience with B2B link building and digital PR.
• Experience with GEO and visibility in AI-generated answers.
• Upper-intermediate or better English for written and spoken communication, and native Ukrainian.

*Experience with HubSpot or another CRM, lead attribution, or working directly with founders, CMOs, or sales teams would be a plus.

What you’ll own:

• Build and refine our SEO strategy for the US market around our services, ideal customers, competitors, and sales cycle.
• Prioritize opportunities using search demand, buyer intent, SERP analysis, and our ability to offer a credible answer.
• Review AI-generated research, recommendations, and content; catch weak assumptions and improve the workflows behind them.
• Guide technical and on-page SEO so the site is easy to crawl, well structured, and fast.
• Develop our visibility in Google and AI-driven search, including ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews.
• Connect SEO work to qualified leads, MQLs, SQLs, and pipeline—not just traffic or rankings.
• Explain recommendations and results clearly to the marketing team and management, including what to do next and why.
