We are looking for a Head of Architecture to join our team!
Requirements:
- 10+ years in software engineering with 5+ years in a lead/architect role.
- Proven experience designing high-scale distributed systems, ideally in real-time, transactional, or gaming systems.
- Strong knowledge of cloud-native architecture AWS.
- Expertise in microservices, message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ), API gateways, and database architectures (SQL/NoSQL).
- Solid understanding of iGaming platform needs, including payment integration, session handling, game engines, and player data models.
- Experience with CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and infrastructure as code.
Responsibilities:
- Formulate, establish, support, and continuously develop the company's architectural strategy to align with our business objectives and industry standards. Ensure architectural consistency and integration across all product teams. Define architectural principles, patterns, and guardrails.
- Define, distribute, and maintain the high-level architecture of the company's platforms, products, services, and infrastructure to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance. Define metrics and evaluate the performance of the architecture department and tech teams, inform stakeholders of the results and drive continuous improvement.
- Promote best practices in scalability, high availability and real-time processing. Optimize for performance under high load, real-time transactions, and player concurrency. Define and own the overall system architecture and technology roadmap.
- Work with product and engineering teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical designs. Conduct architecture reviews and technical design approvals.
- Partner with DevOps and SRE teams to define cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, monitoring, and observability standards.Ensure support for multi-tenancy and compliance requirements. Ensure compliance with security, data privacy, and regulatory standards
- Mentor senior engineers and act as a technical leader across the organization. Lead and supervise Architects and tech teams, collaborate with responsible Leads to form, develop, and regulate their activities.

- Good understanding of Laravel web framework and PHP
- Strong knowledge of Vue.js.
