We seek a Technical Business Analyst to bridge business strategy and engineering execution. You will be critical in translating high-level business needs into precise, engineering-ready specifications. This role is essential for our transition to a scalable Microservices Architecture and achieving ISO 27001 compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Requirements & Analysis
- Translate business objectives into structured technical requirements.
- Prepare API specifications, data mappings, and system diagrams (DFD, workflows).
- Identify system constraints, integration points, and support ADR documentation.
- Ensure technical specifications adhere to engineering standards and Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles.
Alignment & Documentation
- Facilitate technical refinement sessions with Engineering Managers, Tech Leads, and Staff Engineers.
- Maintain accurate documentation (Confluence), ensuring ISO 27001 traceability.
- Contribute to backlog quality: define Definitions of Ready, clear acceptance criteria, and edge cases.
- Partner with Product to align priorities and validate technical feasibility.
Insight & Support
- Act as the voice of the customer within Engineering, gathering insights from TAMs and Clients.
- Validate technical assumptions using metrics, logs, and system analytics.
- Identify risks, dependencies, and potential system impacts early in the process.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst or Systems Analyst.
- Strong understanding of APIs, Microservices, and data models.
- Experience writing clear Functional and Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs).
- Strong working knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles.
- Proficiency in creating technical diagrams and documentation.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills across technical and non-technical teams.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with ISO 27001 standards and compliance documentation.
- Interest in leveraging AI tools for documentation and requirement analysis.
