What you’ll do

• Provide technical support for our product: investigate and resolve production issues, bugs, and user-reported problems.
• Triage incoming requests: clarify symptoms, reproduce issues, identify root cause, and communicate progress/status clearly.

About the Role: 
This is a hands-on leadership role for a Backend Team Lead who will guide a team of backend engineers while staying directly involved in coding, architecture, and delivery. You will work on core backend systems behind Coro’s cybersecurity platform, building and scaling high-load services that process large volumes of security and telemetry data in real time.

These systems are responsible for collecting, processing, and analyzing data from multiple sources, including endpoints, cloud environments, and product integrations. They support critical product capabilities such as threat detection, security analytics, anomaly identification, and automated response workflows, making this a mission-critical leadership role at the core of Coro’s product.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Lead a team of highly skilled and passionate developers
• Partner with the Product Manager to build the road-map for the team
• Understand the team objectives and key results and make sure that the team are on the path to achieving them
• Participate in making decisions on the architecture and technologies
• Conduct the team ceremonies: Daily stand-ups, sprint planning and retro meetings
• Help create and enforce strong engineering standards, code quality, and best Engineering practices
• Take an active part in the implementation (hands-on) of the team's various services and features

• Help your team members grow by mentoring them, building their growth plan with them and enable them opportunities to implement it

   

Required Competence and Skills:

• 6+ years of backend/server-side development with Java
• 2+ years of proven experience leading an engineering team 
• Strong hands-on experience with Spring Framework and MongoDB
• Deep understanding of multithreading and concurrency
• Solid knowledge of OOP concepts and design patterns
• Proven experience with microservices architecture
• Experience working with high-load backend systems
• Proficiency in cloud-native environments (preferably AWS)

Nice to have:

• Experience with Redis and RabbitMQ
• Experience with Elasticsearch/OpenSearch 
• Familiarity with Docker / Kubernetes
• Experience in Cybersecurity domain

About the Role: 
This is a principal-level AI engineering role focused on driving the next generation of AI adoption across Coro — both within the product and across the organization.

You will take ownership of AI-driven initiatives end-to-end, shaping how engineering teams build, ship, and scale software using LLMs, agents, and intelligent tooling. The role is not about day-to-day coding, but about defining architecture, building workflows, and delivering impactful AI solutions that improve developer productivity and system quality.

You will work closely with DevEx, Core Engineering, Product, and R&D, helping standardize and scale AI usage across teams — moving from ad-hoc usage to a structured, high-impact AI-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities: 

•  Build a shared vision with DevEx and Core Engineering leadership for AI-driven developer tooling, supporting development by prototyping agents and workflows while serving as a subject matter expert for internal R&D efficiency
• Work closely with Product and R&D stakeholders, taking full responsibility and ownership from conception to post-deployment of AI tools that automate and optimize the daily work of engineering teams
• Work in a modern CI/CD environment with a team of highly skilled developers, leveraging LLMs and agentic frameworks to redefine and improve the developer experience
• Spearhead the development of new internal features and AI agents — from automated code review to intelligent debugging tools — while owning the full development lifecycle
• Contribute to the overall technical strategy and roadmap of the internal platform, driving initiatives that use AI to improve developer velocity, code quality, and system reliability
• Promote a culture of innovation and continuous growth, encouraging the exploration of emerging AI technologies to solve complex engineering bottlenecks

• Continuously monitor developer feedback and internal productivity metrics to identify opportunities for optimization and further tool refinement

   

Our Stack: Java (Spring-based microservices), Golang, and Python services, running on Kubernetes (AWS EKS). We use Redis, MongoDB, SQL, OpenSearch, RabbitMQ,  AWS Lambda and additional cloud-native technologies. Required Competence and Skills:

• Proven experience working with AI/LLMs, agents, or AI-driven workflows in production environments
• 7+ years of experience building complex web applications and scalable backend systems
• Strong background in platform engineering, developer productivity, or internal tooling
• Ability to work closely with engineers, R&D leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders to define productivity goals and design AI-driven solutions
• Strong product and engineering judgment, with a clear understanding of how to build internal tools that create a smooth and frictionless developer experience
• Strong focus on quality, simplicity, and maintainability when designing solutions for complex engineering problems
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, automation, and AI-driven workflows, combined with an analytical, curious, and data-driven mindset
• Experience implementing AI solutions at an organizational level (not only in isolated projects)
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with empathy for the challenges faced by modern engineering teams

Nice to have:

• Technical leadership experience in roles such as Architect, Tech Lead, or similar, especially in platform engineering or developer productivity areas
• A degree in Computer Science or a related field is a plus, but we are also open to exceptional candidates with strong practical experience

Impressit is looking for a Platform Engineer (Databricks Administration & Data Governance) to join a cross-functional Data Platform team.

This role focuses on enabling analytics and AI teams to build efficiently and securely on a shared Databricks platform. You will be responsible for defining and enforcing platform standards, ensuring data quality, governance, and cost efficiency across the organization.

This is a highly impactful role where you will act as the technical owner of platform guardrails, access models, and operational stability, helping scale the platform across multiple business domains.

Candidate must be located in Portugal or Spain.

What do we expect?

— 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Platform Engineering, including hands-on Databricks administration
— Strong expertise in Databricks ecosystem (Unity Catalog, cluster policies, Delta Lake, Spark, jobs, workspace configuration)
— Solid understanding of data governance principles, including data modeling, ingestion frameworks, schema enforcement, lineage, and versioning
— Proven experience implementing access control models (RBAC, ABAC) in Databricks or similar platforms
— Experience with cost management, monitoring, billing analysis, and compute optimization
— Strong Python (PySpark) and SQL skills
— Experience working with data pipelines and orchestration tools (e.g., DLT, Airflow, Databricks Workflows)
— Ability to define standards, enforce best practices, and influence engineering teams
— Strong communication and collaboration skills

What will you do?

— Administer and optimize Databricks workspaces, clusters, jobs, and platform configurations
— Define and enforce platform-wide data governance standards, including ingestion patterns, naming conventions, and schema rules
— Implement and maintain secure access controls, including RBAC, ABAC, and fine-grained data policies
— Establish and monitor data quality, lineage, and compliance across pipelines
— Review and approve data pipelines to ensure alignment with platform standards
— Implement cost control mechanisms, including alerts, compute policies, and usage monitoring
— Analyze platform usage and proactively identify cost optimization opportunities
— Ensure platform reliability through CI/CD practices, automated checks, and governance controls
— Build and maintain dashboards for observability (costs, pipeline health, access, schema drift)
— Troubleshoot platform issues and continuously improve stability and guardrails
— Enable and guide data teams by providing best practices, templates, and documentation

As a plus:

— Experience with large-scale cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
— Background in trading, supply, or other data-intensive domains
— Experience building governance, cost, or operational dashboards
— Familiarity with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.)
