Role Overview

As a QA Engineer, you will ensure high product quality across our e-commerce and healthcare platform. This is a hybrid role (approx. 70% Manual / 30% Automation). You will be primarily responsible for hands-on functional, regression, and exploratory testing of complex business logic and new features, while also contributing to and maintaining our UI and API automation suite using Playwright and TypeScript.

You'll work with a stack that includes Magento 2, Python microservices, and ReactJS on the product side, Playwright/TypeScript for automation, and AWS/GitHub Actions for CI/CD — using AI-assisted testing as part of daily practice.

What you'll do:

• Perform functional, regression, and exploratory testing across web applications, focusing on checkout, payment, and healthcare workflows.
• Maintain and expand automated test coverage using Playwright and TypeScript for critical regression scenarios.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate test case design, documentation, test data generation, and automation script creation.
• Analyze product requirements early to identify edge cases, logic gaps, and potential risks before development begins.
• Manage test documentation, track tasks, and write clear, well-structured bug reports in Jira and Confluence.
• Monitor CI/CD execution results and flag pipeline stability or test flakiness issues to the team.

Job requirements

• 2+ years of commercial experience in manual Web testing (functional, regression, and exploratory testing of complex business logic).
• 1+ years of hands-on experience contributing to UI or API automation using Playwright and TypeScript (familiarity with POM and clean code principles).
• Practical understanding of e-commerce logic: order lifecycles, shopping cart mechanics, checkout, and payment flows.
• Experience testing REST/GraphQL APIs (Postman/DevTools) and writing SQL (MySQL) queries for verification and test setup.
• Familiarity with Web fundamentals (HTML/CSS, DevTools, Charles/Fiddler proxy tools) and practical Git/GitFlow experience.
• AI-assisted engineering: practical ability to use AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or others) to speed up test design, debugging, reporting and script writing, while critically validating output.

• Intermediate English level or higher for daily communication and documentation.

FCE is seeking a Legal Counsel to provide legal and regulatory support across the firm's virtual asset activities, corporate matters and UAE regulatory obligations.

This role will own day-to-day legal matters, including regulatory advisory and perimeter analysis, contract drafting and negotiation, regulatory submissions and correspondence, policy and governance documentation, and assessment of legal and regulatory risk across the firm's activities.

The Legal Counsel will work closely with senior management, the Board and cross-functional teams to ensure the firm's operations, agreements and business initiatives are structured in accordance with applicable UAE and Dubai legal and regulatory requirements.

• Prepare and manage regulatory submissions, notifications, licence variations and no-objection requests, and support the firm's ongoing supervisory relationship with VARA.
• Draft, review and maintain the firm's suite of regulatory policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with current Rulebook versions and effective version control.
• Support Board and committee governance, including preparation of papers, terms of reference, and appointment and change-of-control documentation.
• Work closely with the stakeholders, specifically the Compliance team on matters with a legal dimension.
   

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

• Qualified lawyer in a recognised common law jurisdiction (England & Wales, or equivalent).
• Approximately 3+ years' post-qualification experience, with meaningful time spent in-house or in a regulatory advisory capacity.
• Demonstrable experience in the virtual asset or digital asset sector, including familiarity with trading, custody and settlement mechanics.
• Current or recent experience within a UAE-regulated financial services or fintech business supervised by VARA, FSRA or DFSA.
• Strong understanding of the UAE legal and regulatory environment.
• Experience drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and managing contracts and commercial agreements.
• Strong legal research and analytical skills.
• Ability to independently identify legal and regulatory risks and provide practical, business-oriented recommendations.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills. (The team’s working languages are English and Russian. Knowledge of Arabic would be a strong plus.)

We're looking for a QA ninja who knows our product better than anyone else on the team and stays closest to our real customers. You'll test with a customer mindset, thinking, clicking, and breaking things the way a real user would. This is not a follow-the-checklist role. We move fast, and so will you. Requirements will sometimes be incomplete, and you'll know how to test anyway, ask the right questions, and find the bugs others miss.

Key Responsibilities

–  Own manual testing as a first-class discipline: exploratory testing, fast bug hunting, unconventional test paths, and creative edge-case thinking

–  Design test coverage using formal test design techniques (equivalence partitioning, boundary values, decision tables, state transitions, pairwise, and others)

–  Write, maintain, and extend automated tests in TypeScript and Playwright, and keep the suite reliable as the product evolves

–  Work daily with AI coding agents (Claude Code CLI or IDE extension, OpenCode, or similar) to accelerate testing, generate test cases, and automate routine work

–  Test payments end-to-end across Stripe, Adyen, and PayPal, including sandboxes, test cards, webhooks, and provider-specific behavior

–  Run cross-browser and responsive testing across viewports (BrowserStack), on real devices and simulators/emulators

–  Perform API testing, read and interpret application logs to localize issues, and maintain Playwright reporting pipelines with Slack notifications

–  Write and maintain test cases in Xray, ideally generated with AI assistance, and report results clearly within Scrum

–  Analyze and improve: proactively propose product and UX improvements and, when needed, run comparative analysis against competitors

Requirements

Must have

–  3+ years of manual testing, including mandatory SaaS product experience

–  2+ years of test automation with TypeScript and Playwright

–  1+ year of hands-on AI-assisted work: core Claude Code CLI (or similar agentic CLI) commands and workflows, context window management, basics of AI agent orchestration, and an understanding of skills (what they are, how to create and apply them)

–  Strong command of test design techniques; this is non-negotiable

–  Solid understanding of client-server architecture and the software development lifecycle (SDLC)

–  Payment testing experience: Stripe, Adyen, PayPal, sandbox environments, and provider specifics

–  Git and GitHub/GitLab workflows

Also required

–  Ability to create and maintain CI/CD jobs (GitHub Actions preferred)

–  Understanding of Playwright reporting pipelines: publishing reports (e.g., to an S3 bucket) and configuring Slack notifications for automated test runs
