We’re looking for a Solutions Architect who enjoys working with clients: understanding their challenges, leading technical conversations, and turning early ideas into clear, well-grounded proposals.

This role focuses on presales, consulting, and communication with client leaders and engineering teams. Your engineering background will help you assess feasibility, discuss constraints, and recommend solutions clients can trust.

What you’ll do

• Lead technical presales: run client meetings independently, explore their needs, and help define the problem to solve.
• Advise client CTOs and other decision-makers: discuss how their systems could evolve, explain technical trade-offs, and connect recommendations to business goals.
• Partner with the sales team: prepare technical proposals, initial estimates, and delivery plans, then present and discuss them with clients.
• Help clients identify valuable AI use cases: assess opportunities, limitations, and readiness for adoption.
• Build alignment between clients and delivery teams: agree on expectations, scope, assumptions, and success criteria, and ensure a clear handover to delivery.
• Share your expertise: help sales and project teams become more confident discussing technical topics and AI opportunities.
• Support communication in challenging project situations: help identify the issue, discuss it calmly with the client, and agree on next steps.

What matters to us

• Active listening and curiosity: you listen carefully and ask questions that uncover the needs behind the initial request.
• Adaptability: you get up to speed quickly in unfamiliar business domains and adapt your communication to your audience, from engineers to CEOs.
• Clear and constructive communication: you explain complex ideas clearly, make a strong case for your recommendations, and handle objections constructively.
• Pragmatism: you’re comfortable setting boundaries, pushing back on unrealistic expectations, and offering workable alternatives.
• Value orientation: when evaluating a solution, you consider client value, budget, timelines, risks, and the company’s interests.
• Transparency: you’re transparent about uncertainty and what needs to be validated before making commitments.
• Empathy: we value empathy, clear communication, and the ability to turn discussions into concrete agreements.

Experience that will help you succeed

• Experience in technical consulting, presales, or a client-facing architect or tech lead role.
• Ability to independently lead discovery sessions, present solutions, and discuss recommendations with C-level stakeholders.
• Experience preparing technical proposals, estimates, and architecture reviews.
• Fluent English for client discussions, negotiations, and technical conversations in an international environment. Knowledge of additional European languages (e.g., German, French, Spanish) is a plus.

Technical Background

• Strong seniority: at least 6 years of hands-on software development experience, including at least 2 years in technical leadership or architecture.
• Systems architecture: deep understanding of backend and enterprise systems, with the ability to assess an existing solution, propose a target architecture, and outline a migration plan.
• Prototyping: ability to validate key assumptions with a proof of concept when needed (primary programming language can vary; Python is a plus for AI work and prototyping).
• Practical AI expertise: hands-on understanding of where AI solutions fail, which risks need to be addressed early, and how to account for security, sensitive data, and the constraints of regulated industries.
• Value-driven tech approach: ability to explain when AI will deliver value and what needs to be in place for it to work.

Why this role

• High-impact involvement: an opportunity to apply your engineering expertise to business challenges, join the conversation from the start, influence the choice of solution, and help turn opportunities into viable projects.

• Great fit for consultants at heart: you’ll enjoy this role if client conversations, exploring options, and making the case for a solution interest you as much as architecture itself—and if success means a solution the client understands and the team can deliver.

The Mission

Wallee Group is a leader in advanced payment solutions, dedicated to providing robust, scalable, and secure systems across multiple domains. We enhance customer experiences through innovative payment and finance technology that empowers businesses to grow efficiently. With operations spanning several countries, we thrive on collaboration and agility, utilizing the Scrum framework to drive our international teams. At Wallee, we stay at the forefront of market trends, continuously innovating to deliver premier services to our global customers.

The Role

QA Engineer to own test strategy and automation for a React-based web front-end.

We're looking for a strong software engineer who has chosen quality engineering as a deliberate specialization — someone who finds testing, tooling, and preventing bugs at scale genuinely interesting. The role also involves occasional manual testing of a cross-platform mobile SDK (Android & iOS), with mobile test automation as a possible future direction.

Core Responsibilities

• Design, write, and maintain automated test suites for the React front-end (unit, integration, and end-to-end tests) — treated as production code, not an afterthought
• Read and understand React component code well enough to reason about edge cases, state transitions, and failure modes, not just click through UI flows
• Build and maintain CI/CD test pipelines and test infrastructure — this is engineering work, not configuration
• Define test strategy and coverage standards for the team, and advocate for testability in code review and design discussions
• Investigate, document, and file clear, reproducible bug reports; go deep enough to identify root cause, not just symptoms
• Contribute to test plans and acceptance criteria during feature planning — as a peer in design discussions, not downstream of them
• Occasionally perform manual testing of the mobile SDK (Android & iOS)

Requirements

• 3+ years as a QA Engineer or SDET, with hands-on test automation experience
• Strong software engineering fundamentals: able to read, write, and debug real code, not just scripts
• Ability to read and understand React code — components, hooks, state/props flow — well enough to reason about what needs testing and why
• Solid JavaScript/TypeScript skills
• Proficiency with a modern JS/TS test automation framework (e.g., Playwright, Cypress, Jest, React Testing Library)
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, CircleCI, Jenkins) and building test infrastructure, not just using it
• Able to clearly explain why something is a bug, its impact, and root cause — not just that it happened
• Experience manually testing mobile apps on real devices/simulators (iOS and/or Android)
• Experience testing native or cross-platform SDKs
• Familiarity with Android (Kotlin/Java) and/or iOS (Swift) enough to read stack traces or sample integration code
• Experience setting up mobile test automation (e.g., Appium, XCUITest, Espresso)
• API/backend testing experience (e.g., Postman, REST-assured)
• Performance or accessibility testing experience
• A blog post, talk, OSS contribution, or side project related to testing/QA

Department/Project Description

Our Client is a major provider of software and framework solutions for clinical trials for Pharma Companies. Many years of experience on the market and proprietary techniques and approaches allow building cutting-edge solutions, which mitigate the trial risks and increase the potential and the success of the study results

About us:

YouScan is one of the most successful Ukrainian SaaS companies. Our deep tech product, powered by in-house developed AI technology, is one of the leaders in the social listening space globally. The entire engineering department works on collecting billions of social media posts daily, processing them with cutting-edge technologies, and providing meaningful insights to our customers.

Your Mission:

Hands-on design for the biggest and most complex parts of the YouScan platform. You will turn sophisticated AI-driven data into clear, intuitive interfaces, working side by side with product managers and engineers from problem framing to shipped product. Depending on the initiatives you join, you own the full design process (research, solution exploration, high-fidelity UI, and quality through implementation) or act as a consultant to guide teammates towards the best solution.

What you’ll do

• Design end-to-end on our most complex initiatives – from problem framing and research to polished, high-fidelity interfaces.
• Transform sophisticated AI-driven data and "Visual Insights" (like image recognition and sentiment analysis) into clean, intuitive dashboards and workflows.
• Use product analytics, user behaviour data and conversations with customers to find friction points and validate decisions before and after shipping.
• Work closely with engineers and product managers to ensure design feasibility and maintain high quality during the implementation phase.
• Contribute to and help maintain our internal design library to ensure visual and functional consistency.
• Be the voice of the customer, ensuring we are solving the right problems in the most elegant way possible.

• Work in two or three product contexts at the same time, switching between them and keeping each one moving.

What we’re looking for

• 6+ years of experience as a Product Designer with serious, grounded design expertise – you have shipped complex products and seen how they perform in the wild. B2B SaaS experience is a strong plus.
• A portfolio that tells a story. We want to see your process. How you define problems, iterate through solutions, and the final high-fidelity results.
• Strong Data Visualization skills. A knack for making dense, AI-driven data easy to read and act upon is essential to us.
• Proficiency in modern tooling. Our team has always iterated fast on design and we don’t rely on perfectly polished Figma components managed by a full team of designers. Today, we are using the most recent tooling to achieve better results. Close familiarity with AI for higher productivity is a must.
• Research-driven product mindset. You don't just "design" or create screens - you talk to users, look at the data, and validate your assumptions before (and after) shipping.
• Clear thinking and structured communication. You can explain the "why" behind your design decisions without noise and can present your ideas clearly to stakeholders. Also, you are open to feedback.
• Strong English (Proven Upper-Intermediate+). You are comfortable communicating and conducting research in an international, English-speaking environment.
• High autonomy and ownership. You’re comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where you manage your own time and take full responsibility for your projects

How the recruitment process goes:

1. Interview with Head of TA
2. Interview with Head of Product and UX Lead ~1 hour
3. Test task
4. Technical interview + interview with the team ~1,5 hour
5. Recommendation check

What we offer

• Work directly with Product and Engineering - your voice will influence what we build next.
• Access to the latest AI tools and the unique challenge of designing interfaces for world-class social intelligence platform.
• Unlimited paid vacation and sick leave (Yes, really).
• Enjoy a 4-day workweek during the summer months to recharge and find fresh inspiration
