About the project:
You will be part of our product team. Team is responsible for building data marts, creating jsons based on them and sending them via Kafka. New Data Platform built in AWS.
We are looking for motivated and result-oriented data engineer, who can join our team in development of Data Products in our new Data Platform.
Your future responsibilities:
- Building an ETL process using AWS services: (S3,Ethena, AWS Glue), Airflow, PySpark, SQL, GitHub, Kafka
- Building SQL queries from data sources on PySpark
- Data processing and writing to the Data Mart Icberg table
- Building an integration solution on the Airflow + Kafka stack
- Data processing in JSON with publication in Kafka
Your skills and experience:
- Higher education in the field of Computer Science/Engineering
- 2+ years of relevant experience in data engineering or related roles
- Knowledge of programming languages: Python, PLSQL
- 2+ years of experience in parsing, transforming and storing data in a Big Data environment (e.g., Hadoop, Spark)
- 1+ years of experience in AWS Lambda, Glue, Athena and S3
- Experience with Kafka architecture, configuration and support
- Experience with database development and optimization (Oracle/PostgreSQL)
- Experience in developing Big Data pipelines
- Experience with Avro, JSON data formats
- Experience with AWS data services and infrastructure management
- Understanding the principles of working in an Agile environment
