We are looking for a Backend Developer to own the backend infrastructure of our fintech platform. You will design scalable microservices, manage critical data flows, and ensure system reliability at scale. Work directly with product, design, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust backend systems.

What You Will Do
Backend Architecture & Design

• Design and implement backend services within an existing microservices architecture.
• Experience working with production systems where performance, reliability and scalability matter.
• Architect PostgreSQL schemas for reliability and performance at scale.
• Define API contracts (GraphQL, REST) that support frontend and partner integrations.
• Make critical decisions on data consistency, caching, and async patterns.

Microservices & System Design

• Build and maintain multiple Node.js / Express microservices with clear ownership boundaries.

• Ensure row-level security (RLS) and multi-tenant data isolation at the database layer.

Data & Performance

• Design and optimize PostgreSQL schemas using Prisma ORM.
• Write complex queries, manage indexes, and ensure query performance.
• Implement caching strategies and data consistency patterns.
• Build audit trails and changelog tracking for compliance and debugging.
• Handle sensitive data (KYC, AML, financial records) with security-first approach.

Integration & Third-Party Services

• Integrate with external services (KYC providers, document verification, acquiring networks).
• Design and maintain API integrations with payment processors and clearing centers.
• Build robust error handling and retry logic for critical integrations.
• Document APIs and maintain SDK/integration guides for partners.

What We Are Looking For
Core Requirements:

• 3–5+ years of production experience in Node.js backend development.
• Strong TypeScript across the entire stack (no JavaScript-only experience).
• Solid experience with PostgreSQL: database design, joins, transactions, indexes and query optimization.

We are looking for a Technical Architect to take ownership of the technical direction of a modern AI-powered hotel booking platform.

The platform connects with Opera Property Management System and other hotel systems, provides access to unique inventory from high-end hotels, and is being developed as a chat-based AI booking platform.

The project has already been through an intensive development phase and is now entering a more stable stage. We are looking for someone who can step in, understand the existing product and architecture, take ownership of technical decisions, and ensure the platform remains stable and scalable.

You will work closely with the CEO and engineering team, combining hands-on technical work with architectural thinking. This role is ideal for an experienced engineer or architect who is comfortable working independently, making pragmatic decisions, and communicating technical topics clearly to business stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of the overall technical architecture and engineering direction
• Review and understand the existing codebase, architecture, integrations, and infrastructure
• Make pragmatic technical decisions focused on stability, maintainability, scalability, and business needs

About the Role

Once an account with a bank, EMI, or PSP is live, someone has to keep it that way. That's this role.

You're not the person who opens the account — that's handled by our Onboarding team. You're the person who owns the relationship after it's live: staying close enough to our banking and payment partners that you notice when something's off before it becomes a formal problem, and calm enough under pressure to represent the company professionally when a partner has real concerns.

Where this role sits:

• Onboarding Manager → gets the account opened (KYB submission, initial documentation, first approval)
• You → own the relationship from that point forward: ongoing contact, risk monitoring, escalations, and representing the company during any follow-up reviews or enhanced due diligence
• MLRO / Compliance → you work closely with them, but you are not the compliance decision-maker — you're the bridge between what the bank is asking and what the internal team needs to know

What You'll Do

Relationship Management (Ongoing, Not Onboarding)

• Maintain regular, professional contact with our live banking, EMI, and PSP partners — not just when there's a problem
• Build real working relationships with account managers, compliance officers, and risk teams at partner institutions
• Stay attuned to each partner's expectations, preferences, and requirements, and notice when something shifts
• Ensure communication flows both ways — partner requirements and concerns coming in, business context and updates going back out

Early Risk Detection

• Act as an early-warning system — spot changes in tone, unusual reviews, or extra scrutiny before they become formal escalations
• Identify signals that a partner may have concerns regarding transaction activity, customer traffic, refund/chargeback patterns, campaigns, or business practices
• Escalate concerns immediately to MLRO, Compliance, Payments, and management
• Help internal teams understand exactly what the partner is worried about, and follow through until it's genuinely resolved

Compliance Reviews & Enhanced Due Diligence

• Represent the company during EDD and elevated reviews on existing accounts
• Coordinate with MLRO and Compliance to keep responses accurate and consistent
• Where issues arise from campaigns, traffic sources, customer behavior, refunds, or chargebacks, help manage communication with the financial institution
• Present the company's position professionally, without overstepping your authority

Escalation Handling

• Handle concerns around payment recalls, suspicious transactions, account restrictions, or customer complaints
• Coordinate with Payments, Risk, and MLRO to get the facts straight before responding
• Spot recurring patterns and flag material issues before they threaten the relationship
• Ensure responses to financial institutions are timely, consistent, and well-supported

Internal Coordination

• Work closely with MLRO, Compliance, Payments, and Risk — pulling the right people together behind one clear external response
• Keep relevant stakeholders informed of material developments in a timely manner

About your role: We are looking for a Lead Treasury Manager to help scale and strengthen our treasury function. In this role, you will

• Lead and develop the company's treasury function, driving its continuous improvement, scaling processes, and implementing best practices to support business growth.

It’s all about you

• 3+ years of experience specifically in a Treasury Manager role, preferably in IT, fintech, or a multi-jurisdictional business
• Experience managing a team, with the ability to delegate, prioritize, and develop team members
• Hands-on experience with international banks, EMIs, and payment systems (SWIFT, SEPA, ACH, online banking)
• Experience working with crypto payments/exchanges is a strong advantage
• Experience opening and closing bank/EMI accounts across multiple jurisdictions
• Solid understanding of KYC procedures and regulatory compliance requirements
• Strong analytical skills and confidence negotiating directly with banks on fees and terms
• Upper-Intermediate English proficiency, both oral and written
