Qualifications:

We run an online training business and are hiring a hands-on Full Stack Developer to manage our systems and keep everything running smoothly. This is not a basic IT or VA role. You will own and maintain the core systems that run the business, including our learning platform, website, integrations, payments, and internal tools. You will also improve workflows using AI and automation.

⚠️ This role requires a strong IT background. If your experience is mainly in AI tools, no-code automation, or recent learning without real-world system ownership, this role is not a fit.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain LearnWorlds (courses, access, bundles, user experience, integrations)
• Own and manage core systems including HubSpot, OnceHub, Fathom, Google Workspace, Brevo, SignNow, Referly, Certifier
• Build and maintain automations using n8n, APIs and webhooks
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve workflows using AI and automation
• Fix WordPress issues including bugs, plugins, themes and integrations
• Manage Stripe or similar payment systems and troubleshoot payment flows
• Ensure access is only granted after payment is confirmed

Requirements:

We are looking for a hands-on Software Development Engineer in Test to design and implement our integration test automation strategy. The goal of this engagement is to build reliable integration coverage for critical audio/video flows, reduce regressions, and increase release confidence while enabling developers to own and maintain integration tests long term.

Scope of work

1. Implement automated integration coverage across key system boundaries:
   •  API integration tests for Express + MongoDB (Supertest + isolated DB)
   •  Frontend-to-backend integration tests for critical flows
   •  Integration coverage for audio/video pipelines and artifacts;
2. Build and maintain the integration automation infrastructure;
3. Integrate tests into CI/CD as defined in strategy:
   • PR gates (API integration)
   • staging gate (integration smoke / critical flow suite);
4. Enable the dev team to own more integration tests:
   • create clear documentation (how to write/run integration tests, patterns, examples, DoD expectations)
   • prepare templates/snippets for common integration test scenarios
   • run knowledge-sharing sessions / workshops and support developers during adoption
   • actively encourage and coach developers to write integration tests as part of feature work.

Required skills

1. Strong hands-on experience implementing integration test automation (API + system/service integration);
2. Solid JavaScript and TypeScript testing experience in React and Node.js environments;
3. Strong experience with Playwright (for integration-level smoke flows where needed);
4. Experience with API testing (Supertest or equivalent) and database test isolation (MongoDB);
5. Proven experience validating audio and video artifacts in automated tests;
6. CI/CD experience, including test gates, parallel execution, artifacts, and stable pipelines;
7. Strong communication skills with the ability to document clearly and guide engineers toward better testing practices.
