The client is the world’s leading developer of Automatic Identification and Data Collection (AIDC) software. It is a set of Windows desktop and server applications. Over 600,000 companies rely on this software for applications such as receiving, inventory management,
product identification, product control, and shipping. Products are sold through a global network of over 1,500 resellers and integrators in 120 countries.
The project started in 2006 and, and nowadays, we have a friendly team with a great history and traditions. The team consists of a PM, 6 developers, and 6 testers.
Development technologies are: C#, .NET, WPF, WCF, ASP.NET MVC, C/C++.
Testing is well documented and structured. We use all types of testing.
Here are the tools that we use: MS VS, MS TFS, InstallShield, JMeter, VMWare, VSphere, Virtual Box.

About the project:

Every client engagement starts with a question: can we actually build this, and how? This role sits at that exact moment — leading technical discovery and pre-sales across multiple prospective and active engagements at Glorium. You'll turn ambiguous client challenges into concrete solution designs, realistic estimates, and architectures that delivery teams can actually execute. The work spans Node.js and .NET backends, React/Angular front-ends, and an increasing share of AI/LLM integration — RAG pipelines, agentic workflows, orchestration, and guardrails.

A new team member will be in charge of:

• Lead discovery and scoping sessions end-to-end — from the first client call to a signed-off solution design, proposal, and effort estimate.
• Own the architectural output: high-level and detailed diagrams, data flows, integration patterns, and trade-off decisions that delivery teams inherit and build on.

You'll work directly with the leadership team to shape how Amplify wins against the rest of the Shopify ecosystem. On a small team, you'll own marketing end to end – this is for someone who wants that accountability and the autonomy that comes with it. As we grow, there's room to build and lead a team.

Key responsibilities

• Own Amplify's go-to-market strategy – positioning, messaging, and how we win merchants
• Plan, build, and optimize paid acquisition across Google, Meta, Shopify App Store – you name it
• Own the growth funnel end to end: acquisition, activation, and the metrics that matter (CAC, ROAS, etc)
• Run experiments across channels, landing pages, and offers
• Sharpen how we position against competitors in the bundling and upsell space
• Partner with Product and CS to turn customer insight into messaging and campaigns

• Report clearly on what's driving growth and what to scale next

   

Requirements

• 5+ years in growth or performance marketing, with real ownership of acquisition and GTM
• A track record of driving measurable growth – you can point to numbers you moved
• Hands-on expertise running paid acquisition (Google, Meta, and similar channels)
• Strong grasp of positioning and messaging
• Comfortable owning metrics and making decisions from data
• Self-directed and accountable: you thrive owning outcomes on a small team
• Experience marketing to Shopify merchants, DTC brands, or the e-commerce ecosystem is a strong plus
• Experience with B2B SaaS or direct-sales go-to-market is a plus

What Success Looks Like in Year One

• You demonstrate a strong understanding of the AWS services and infrastructure components monitored across customer environments, including customer-specific dependencies, alerting logic, and operational context. You use this knowledge to perform efficient root cause analysis and reduce investigation time during incidents.
• You demonstrate confident hands-on experience with the core monitoring toolset, including Datadog, CloudWatch, Grafana, Zabbix, and PagerDuty. You can independently configure monitoring for a new customer from scratch, including alerting, dashboards, and escalation flows tailored to the customer’s infrastructure and operational requirements.
• You demonstrate strong Сustomer Obsession, critical thinking, and analytical skills by going beyond alert acknowledgment to analyse patterns across metrics, logs, and events. You apply logical reasoning to identify root causes, distinguish false positives from real issues, improve alerting quality based on your findings, and help translate this ownership mindset across the team.
• You take effective ownership of customer issues, coordinate confidently with internal and external stakeholders, including DevOps, FinOps, AWS Support, and AWS TAMs.
• You can confidently act as the main engineer on shift, support new team members during their ramp-up, and help your shift partner follow the team’s operational flow, communication standards, and escalation process.

• You have successfully achieved the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner and AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate certifications, and continue developing your AWS expertise by preparing for additional certifications aligned with your professional growth path.

Requirements:

• PhD with 1+ years of research experience in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a STEM-related field
