About the Role

We are launching a new international iGaming project focused on Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.

The project is being built within a well-established international holding company with strong financial backing, extensive market expertise, and ambitious growth plans.

The FP&A Analyst is a key member of the Finance team, reporting to the Director of Finance. This position supports the organization’s financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and analysis activities by helping translate financial data into meaningful insights.

The Jr. Accounting Specialist position is a key member of the Finance team reporting to the Senior Accounting Specialist. We are looking for Data Engineer, who will be embedded in the Data Platform team of a global mining organisation, helping design and deliver a modern Azure-native data infrastructure. The team ingests data from dozens of operational sources — including REST and SOAP APIs, IoT sensors, ERP systems, and flat-file feeds — transforming it into curated, analytics-ready datasets that drive decisions across finance, operations, and supply chain.

This is a hands-on engineering role. You will spend most of your time building and maintaining robust pipelines, optimising data flows within Azure Synapse and Databricks, and ensuring the platform remains reliable, scalable, and secure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather and analyse business requirements to identify and prioritise integration opportunities.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory to orchestrate ingestion from diverse source systems.
• Develop and optimise data transformation logic and analytical workloads in Azure Synapse Analytics (dedicated and serverless SQL pools, Synapse Pipelines).
• Build and maintain Databricks notebooks and jobs (PySpark / Spark SQL) for large-scale data processing and feature engineering.
• Implement robust API extraction patterns — REST and SOAP — handling pagination, authentication (OAuth 2.0, API keys), rate limiting, and error recovery.
• Design and maintain the lakehouse architecture: raw, curated, and serving layers using Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2.
• Ensure data quality through validation frameworks, monitoring pipelines, alerting, and lineage documentation.
• Collaborate with Analytics Engineers and data consumers to understand downstream requirements and model data accordingly.
• Apply best practices for CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code (Azure DevOps, Terraform / Bicep), and environment management.
• Participate in data governance activities including metadata management, access control, and documentation.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in data engineering or a closely related software engineering role.
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory — authoring pipelines, triggers, linked services, and data flows.
• Solid experience with Azure Synapse Analytics — SQL pools, Synapse Pipelines, and integration with ADLS Gen2.
• Proven experience with Databricks — PySpark, Delta Lake, job clusters, and Unity Catalog is a plus.

As a Lead Data Engineer, you will lead a team of data engineers and analysts, partnering closely with business stakeholders and senior analysts to translate marketplace analytics needs — from web & app tracking to marketing performance — into robust data models and pipelines that power the company's key business decisions.

This role sits closer to the business than a typical data engineering position. The Data Platform Engineering team owns the underlying platform and infrastructure, so you'll focus on understanding analytics use cases, shaping data models, and enabling analysts and stakeholders to answer their most important business questions.

• Lead and mentor a team of data engineers, providing technical direction as well as people leadership.

The mission

You'll own a set of metrics and be measured on nothing else:
Refund rate — down. Every refunded lead is a quality failure somewhere in the pipeline, and we didn`t want to publish "bad" leads on our platform
Contact rate and closing rate — up. A lead that can't be reached or doesn't convert is a supply problem dressed up as a sales problem. You find out which one it is, with data.
Price per lead — up, through quality. Better-verified, better-scored leads command higher prices. You build the scoring that proves it.
Supply vs. demand balance — under daily control instead of periodic manual review.

Right now the CEO does this work personally: reviewing lead quality, hunting duplicates, spotting supply gaps by hand. We're hiring the person who takes it over and does it better — because they built a system for it, not because they check more spreadsheets.

What the work looks like

You form hypotheses about why leads refund, why calls don't connect, why certain sources underperform — then you test them. Some tests are analytical (segment refunds by source, geography, verification path). Some are operational (change a verification step, adjust distribution logic, pilot a new outreach sequence for appointments). You bring the numbers, propose the fix, and drive it to a measured result. Technical implementation — like a lead-scoring model — goes through our dev team; your job is to define what gets built and prove it worked.

You'll work directly with the CEO. Not "report into a layer that reports to leadership" — the two of you will look at the same dashboard and argue about the same numbers.
