As a Middle Anti-Fraud Specialist at an Electronic Money Institution (EMI), you will be responsible for detecting, investigating, and preventing fraudulent activities across digital financial services. This role involves monitoring transactional data, analysing suspicious behaviour, and working cross-functionally with compliance, risk, and tech teams to enhance fraud detection and mitigation systems. You will contribute to ensuring the safety and integrity of the company’s financial ecosystem while maintaining a balance between customer experience and fraud risk.

Requirements

• 1 year of experience in fraud prevention or detection, preferably in fintech, EMI, or banking
• Strong knowledge of financial fraud typologies including identity theft, account takeover, social engineering, phishing, and synthetic identities
• Familiarity with AML (Anti-Money Laundering) practices and regulatory frameworks
• Proficiency in working with fraud detection systems, case management tools, and transaction monitoring platforms
• Good analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to assess patterns, data anomalies, and fraud indicators
• Strong communication skills for preparing reports and communicating with internal teams or external partners

Responsibilities

• Monitor transactions and user behaviour for signs of fraud using internal tools and third-party systems
• Investigate suspicious cases thoroughly, gather evidence, and recommend appropriate actions such as blocking transactions, freezing accounts, or escalating to senior staff
• Maintain and update internal fraud rules, thresholds, and alert systems in collaboration with the Risk and IT teams
• Analyse fraud trends and propose process improvements or system enhancements to reduce future risk
• Support customer support teams in resolving fraud-related inquiries and disputes
• Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports on fraud incidents, and trends for internal stakeholders

Nice to have

• Experience working in an EMI or payment service provider regulated in the EU or UK
• Familiarity with fraud detection platforms like SEON, Actimize, Sift, or similar
• Certification in fraud examination
• Experience with SQL, Python, or data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for fraud data analysis
• Knowledge of card fraud mechanisms (3DS, chargebacks, BIN attacks) and tools used in card transaction monitoring

What will you do:

• Own group-wide SMM strategy across Headway, Nibble, Skillsta, and new launches, aligned with positioning, GTM, and business goals.
• Build and run the SMM operating model: planning, production, QA, publishing, and cross-channel coordination.
• Lead and scale the team: hire, set operating principles, coach SMM Managers, and align designers/copywriters around priorities.
• Keep brands distinct by defining messaging, tone, and content guidelines across products.
• Partner with PMM, Brand, UA, Influencer, PR, and Product teams to support GTM and contribute to marketing and product funnels.
• Own analytics and insights: KPIs, dashboards, performance reviews, plus trend/competitor research to launch new formats and growth loops.

What do you need to join us:

• 3+ years of experience as an SMM Manager (at least 1 year as SMM Lead/Head) in an IT product company or digital agency.
• Skills in working with social media algorithms on Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
• Working with analytics, marketing funnels, and metrics (ER, ERR, ROI).
• Ability to generate ideas and analyse content through the prism of marketing goals.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
• Alignment with the values of our team (SELECT).

Responsibilities:

• Analyze large and complex data to discover hidden patterns and opportunities.
• Develop and own end-to-end highly scalable data pipelines.
• Develop state-of-the-art machine learning models, and algorithms and build solutions in monetization fields.
• Provisioning data models for real-time (online) processing
• Shape new data products, and constantly improve the existing products.
• Collaborate with multiple teams including Product, BI, Analysts, DevOps, R&D and Marketing to lead and accomplish overall solutions.
• Oversee a complete release to production, including analyzing requirements, testing, monitoring and measuring results, multitasking, and quickly responding to critical issues.

Requirements:

Must:

• B.Sc./M.A/M.Sc. degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Statistics, or other equivalent fields.
• 6 years as a Data Scientist - a strong background in ML concepts and models.
• Hands-on experience with Python, especially with data science ML libraries (regression & classification algorithms e.g. XGB or LGBM, recommendation system algorithms, etc.)
• Understanding of databases and SQL for data retrieval.
• Monitoring and alerting tools (e.g. Grafana, Kibana)
   

Advantage:

• Knowledge in the programmatic advertising landscape – DSPs, SSPs, exchanges – significant advantage.
• Experience with relational (e.g. Vertica, VoltDB) and non-relational (e.g. MongoDB) databases.
• Experience with PMML
