We're hiring a Project Manager (Pod Lead) for our Newsletter Operations team. You'll report to the Operations Manager and lead a pod of Email Marketing Specialists. You'll work closely with Broadcast Managers, QA Managers, designers and writers.

Your job is to make sure things that get started actually get finished. That means SOPs get learned and used, triggered workflows turn into real work, and marketers learn to solve problems on their own. You're the first check between the marketers' work and the Operations Manager. Anything you send up should already include context, analysis and a suggested next step.

Responsibilities

• Watch newsletter health across the pod: growth status, send consistency, segmentation and whether the numbers are right
• Check issues that marketers report, and turn them into documented cases with a suggested fix before sending them up
• Run team problem-solving sessions, case reviews and regular 1:1s matched to each person's level
• Share every SOP and process update, and follow up until it's understood and actually used
• Make sure triggered processes (such as growth-stage QA checks) get done and don't stop at a notification; reopen delayed items and assign next steps
• Track growth milestones, and make sure promo, broadcast, QA and partner actions happen on time
• Help marketers with fixes, drafts and ideas, and review their work before it goes to designers or for approval
• Keep track of paused newsletters and what's needed to restart them, so pauses don't drag on
• Check writers' work for quality patterns, and track designer tasks from start to finish
• Coordinate newsletter transfers and side projects within the pod
• Make sure inboxes are monitored across the pod, and review sensitive or complex subscriber replies before they go out

Requirements

• Experience managing or coaching a team in a fast-paced, process-driven setting (newsletter, marketing or content operations preferred)
• Strong coaching and facilitation skills: you can run case reviews and 1:1s that build skills, not just check status
• Structured problem-solving: you can turn a vague issue into a clear analysis with a suggested action
• Comfortable tracking health checks, SOP rollouts, growth triggers, paused newsletters, transfers at once, without dropping any
• Good judgment on what to fix within the team and what really needs to go up
• Experience giving clear, useful feedback to marketers, writers or designers
• Very organized and detail-oriented
• Strong written and spoken communication, including reviewing and improving replies to subscribers

• Background in newsletter, marketing or content operations
• Hands-on experience with newsletter platforms, growth stages or broadcast workflows

Requirements:

• 6+ years of experience in Full Stack development (Node.js + Vue.js);
• 2+ years of Experience with MongoDB and Mongoose (models, schemas and validations, aggregation framework, performance troubleshooting, query optimization, index analysis, and database health monitoring)."
• Experience with Vue.js (Vue 2/3, Composition/Options API, Vuex/Pinia, Vue Router)

Who We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a designer who operates at the intersection of two worlds — Product Design and Game UI/UX.

Someone who is equally comfortable designing a clear user flow inside a banking or retail app and creating interfaces for quests, progression, rewards, or the game itself.

This is not a pure Game Artist role, where the main focus is on icons, characters, and game assets. It’s also not a traditional Product Designer role focused primarily on large design systems and standard native flows.

We’re looking for someone in between: a strong UX and product-thinking foundation combined with an understanding of game UI, modern game mechanics, and player motivation.

For us, it’s not enough to simply “design a screen.” You should understand what the user needs to see, what they should do next, and what will make them want to come back.

What You’ll Do

• Design user flows, UX logic, and UI for gamified experiences — from wireframes to final polish.
• Create interfaces for games and meta-game experiences: onboarding, progression, quests, rewards, achievements, leaderboards, and more.
• Design mechanics that integrate naturally into existing mobile apps and digital products.
• Create UI kits, components, game elements, icons, and work with 2D graphics.
• Adapt game UI to a client’s brand guidelines without losing the feeling of a game.
• Think about usability, engagement, motivation, and user behavior — and propose your own solutions rather than simply executing a ready-made brief.
• Work closely with PMs, developers, game designers, and 2D/3D artists, taking your designs through to implementation.

What Matters to Us

• 4+ years of experience in UI/UX or Product Design.
• Hands-on experience in gamedev, mobile games, or gamification — mandatory.
• A portfolio that demonstrates both strong UX and strong visual design, rather than focusing on only one of these areas.
• Understanding of mobile UX, game UI, and basic game design / gamification mechanics.
• Strong Figma skills: components, auto layout, prototyping, UI kits.
• Photoshop / Illustrator or other tools for working with 2D graphics.
• A strong sense of composition, color, typography, and visual hierarchy.
• The ability to explain and defend your design decisions, work with feedback, and independently explore strong solutions.
• And yes — it’s important that you play games. You don’t need to know every Steam release, but quests, progression, rewards, boosters, and other core game patterns shouldn’t feel like abstract terms to you.

This role leads the Pilot and Platform engineering teams - not through day-to-day people management or payroll, but through architecture, product decisions and direct technical leadership. A CTO sits above this role to handle strategy, business and financing; this position exists so that whoever holds it can stay close to the code and the customer instead of being pulled upward into the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with the product team to shape product development
• Own system architecture across the flight autopilot and hardware/platform layers
